Pros: good price, ok picture quality, ok HD video quality, easy to handle, allowing zoom during video (continuous focusing), AA battery, good battery time

Cons: very slow focus, no manual focus, long shutter delay, motor noise recorded if you zoom while recording video, bad audio quality, cannot pause during video. you have to stop recording which results in lots of small files.

Other Thoughts: because of the slow focus and rather long shutter delay it is not useful for taking wildlife (birding) or sport event pictures. Not allowing pause during video is a sin.

Pros: My main camera is a Pentax Kx. I have a finepix S1500,S2700 and now the S4000. For a bridge camera they are great. I get very good shots with the S4000. If you think you can point and shoot at 30x zoom its hard..but it can be done. Its easy to use over my Pentax DSLR and a 1/4 the price. You can pay more for a bridge or dslr but unless you or a pro, you won't get better pictures.

Cons: could use a remote shutter release

Other Thoughts: I grab the S4000 before my Pentax....Its so much easier.

Pros: I really cannot think of anything good to say about this camera,Quality is not very good in most settings except maybe closeup shots..The Zoom is really not good at all,I contacted Fuji and they said the camera is fine.

Cons: Just about everything about it is awful,Fuji needs to take this one back and make it up to par with the Canon line of large zoom cameras.

Other Thoughts: Not much,I don't think I got a clunker I just think its a badly made camera,Another seller has them for 250.00 so Newegg needs to drop the price,Even then I would not buy another one.
