FUJIFILM FinePix AX200 Black 12.2 MP 5X Optical Zoom Digital Camera

Pros: Super easy install. No wires or battery issues. Holds two phones in memory for different drivers. Big bonus.

Cons: Over the past couple years I've lost 2 due to the fact that there so easy to use. Both were left in rental cars we take them on trips.

Other Thoughts: This is the fifth one I've bought. This one is for my my 65 year old mother. Not that she can install it herself but my brother can. And once it's installed all you have to do is turn it on.

Pros: Cheap and took decent pictures for about 1 month.

Cons: Don't know where to start. The batteries die fast. The cord that connects to the computer is the shortest cord in the world at about 2'. Also the jack in the camera is real touchy and sometimes will not go into USB mode properly to upoad pictures. I have 2 Fuji's of similar model and one CANNOT load photos at all. I have to put the memory card in the other camera to retreive photos at all. But the REAL kicker is the lens jammed after 1 month and the camera is now a paper weight! I have recently pulled it from the drawer to use it as a memory card reader for the other garbage Fuji and felt a review needed to be done.

Other Thoughts: Basically these cameras are disposable. Buy one at a discount for no more than $50 to take to the beach or on a hiking trip where you are afraid to use your real camera. All I needed was basic photos of houses as an appraiser and this cannot even handle that. P.S. I am very aware of how fragile ALL lens are in these point and shoot cameras. This one went out for no reason. The one I got for my daughter ALSO jammed and she has only used it about a dozen times. I got that one unstuck after an hour of messing with it, but like I said THAT one has a faulty USB jack so I have to keep the first one as a card reader. What a load of horse dung. I would not recommend this camera to ANYONE.

Pros: After getting the rechargable Batteries, and taking a few shots, and videos, I found this camera a great value. The screen is bright enough in daylight. The focal abilities are adequate for my situations. Resolution of Photo and Video is fine and very adjustable. After using film for many years, and not being a "gadget" consumer, This camera has made me smile for the first time about the "New Age" of digital. Along with the NewEgg company doing as they have always done with my orders, Kudos.

Cons: Packaging could be a bit more secure - flopping around inside the box only assured me that this camera is tough.
-No Styrofoam, that's good in my view.

Other Thoughts: It could be absolutely free, and as good as the Hubble, but I don't live in a fantasy world.

Pros: Nice small camera.

Other Thoughts: As a Fuji owner many times before, I believe AX200 is good product. I ordered this camera as temp. replacement for my S2000 which I drown this summer.

What may be questionable is trustworthiness of the "Fuji Recertified". My first recertified AX200 fully opened lens after turned on, then died. I got replacement shortly but with similar lens defect. Lens is working somewhere between 30 to 70%, never fully opened, never fully closed. Unable take pictures.

Newegg customer service works great. Return is more than easy and a replacement delivers fast. However - returning twice and paying twice the return shipping makes this product expensive. I will welcome refund (which is not offered) instead of another replacement.

Pros: Beautiful array of features not found on many budget digital cameras, 720p video recording, a nice 5x optical wide lens, comfortable chassis design, compatible with both alkaline and rechargeable AA battery configurations. 12MP WOAH. So its good that I really only use 6MP. Its lighter than my 3 year old camera even with Nihm batteries inside it.

Cons: I could've spent more for a Sony equivalent, I could've bought a better camera for more money, I could've gone with Nikon, I will have to deal with the fact that 720p video recording with rechargeable batteries will likely eat through them very quickly. OH WELL.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for somewhere between 29.99 and 39.99 during a sale last week. Its an excellent camera for what it is and is fully capable for entry users as well as intermediate users of camera's. At first I was quite skeptical of what a fujifilm digital camera could do- but after taking several photos (especially in natural light settings) the results were much nicer than I thought. The only drawback is the battery life for HD video recording. Not a huge deal I take a lot of photos anyway.
