FUJIFILM S3280 Black 14.0 MP 24X Optical Zoom Digital Camera

Pros: Good quality lens.
Lots of DSLR features for a $99 camera.
Great zooming capabilities.
Can be used fully automatic as a point-and-shoot if desired.
Great for tripod still shots. Night shots were very clear and impressive (on full manual). Not a good choice for moving subjects or kids.
However, full 720 HD video is a great choice for moving subjects and kids.

Cons: I'm not too sure I like crossover style cameras. The pocket portability of a point-and-shoot is lost without gaining all of the features of a true SLR. This is a very bulky camera for the limited amount of features.
Does poorly in low light indoor situations...even with the low-light indoor setting. Our previous FinePix point-&-shoot did much better. Low light images are grainy and poorly colored. Shadow seem to go overly blue and highlights overly yellow.
Automatic white-balance is not very good. Seems to run on the yellow side for most pictures.
I was excited for the numerous aperture settings listed in the manual, but was disappointed to find that only a high and low can be chosen at any given zoom distance.
Drains batteries incredibly fast. Manual says approx 300 pictures on 4 alkaline AAs. In reality it is closer to 100.
Screen stays on while pictures are downloading (all FujiFilm cameras seem to do this). This just eats up batteries even faster. It does not turn off when downloads are finished. If you hook it up and leave it for a few hours you will have a dead camera when you get back.
LENS CAP WAS MISSING FROM NEWEGG PURCHASE.
Like the previous reviewer stated, this camera came with a dirty lens that required cleaning right out of the box.

Other Thoughts: In general, I am pleased with this camera.

Pros: nice features, low price

Cons: finger print on len. No lens cover. This camera rattles when you twist it in Your hand. No instructions.
