5 out of 5 eggsBuy This Now!!!

Pros: FAST startup! 60 frames per second, Mini HDMI port built in. Decent audio recording. Quicktime format

Cons: Zoom, taking photos has a learning does NOT FOCUS at distances less than 24"

Other Thoughts: This camera is incredible for the price! Crystal clear 720p video at 60 frames per second and startup time of under 2 seconds. Everyone I have showed this camera to has wanted one. My brother bought one after I sent him some video incorporating both low light (in one video) and fast movement (in another video) and he was blown away by the quality. My brother also has a baby on the way and this is the perfect camera for capturing all those moments (again, mad props to the quick startup time).

I have shot some hummingbirds with this camera with NO BLUR whatsoever. There was a firmware update available when I purchased the camera that improved sound quality in Windows 7 and I have had no issues at all with anything regarding this camera. The software it comes with is easy to use and has already had several updates. It is also very easy to upload your videos to Facebook and YouTube. This is a homerun Kodak!! Buy it it!!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Little HD

Pros: Good looking 720p 60fps video, SD slot, water resistance makes it perfect for snow or beach trips. Dead simple controls.

Cons: As with almost all small pocket cameras it has some drawbacks: bad low light performance, no optical zoom, no image stabilization. Mic isn't great but acceptable.

Other Thoughts: Memory expandability, good video quality, water/dirt resistance and cost make this a great buy. The accessory rubber cover you can get from Kodak is great - you don't have to worry about dropping it. Optional rechargeable battery give you much better battery life and charges fast. Optional remote is neat too. I use it on my hiking trips and snowboarding - hasn't let me down.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera

Pros: If you are looking for a relatively cheap camera with great quality this is the camera for you. The 60 fps 720p video capture is AMAZING. It truly looks wonderful on a hdtv or monitor. The still frame lighting is exceptional. I found myself taking wonderfully lit pictures in extremely low light conditions. This camera works great if you have a small tripod

Comes with a charger and rechargeable batteries

Comes with a mini to full hdmi cable

Cons: Use in very very low temperatures tend to make the video picture blur a little and drain the batteries. I assume this is because I was taking video in around 20 degrees farenheit. However it did still due its job.

Battery life goes very fast using 60 fps. However I found a great way to fix this by buying some 2700mah NiMH batteries online because the camera already comes with a charger!

Other Thoughts: If you like to take very good looking video on trips, special events, sports, or like making home movies I highly reccomend this product.

5 out of 5 eggsNice pictures

Pros: Fine picture at 30 fps and excellent . Focus range is 28" to infinity. Comes with rechargeable batteries and dock. With slow camera movement, there is no lag. Its size is perfect, that is, it feels good in the hand. The color display is excellent.

Cons: Limitations are only noticed if you want to compare the unit to a $300 camcorder, buit its picture quality will still hold its own with more expensive units. Its performance exceeds the use of most people, so I just see a con at its selling price. You won't get close-ups with a minimum range of 28" but who needs a microscope?

Other Thoughts: I guess I'm cheap, but I don't want to pay $200+ for a camcorder when this one is excellent for recording vacations, holidays gatherings, etc. It records excellent inside if your house is moderately lighted. Its easy to hold. I highly recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good choice for the money

Pros: Weather resistant, many extra goodies, good quality for your money

Cons: mic isn't as good as expected, battery charger issue

Other Thoughts: I got this video camera after researching for a couple days. I am very impressed with the quality of it. I have yet to use it plugged into a HDTV through the supplied HDMI cable, but I do have a hd display monitor on my computer and it looks great for being $120.

The mic is livable but didn't pick up as much as i thought.

An image stabilization would be VERY beneficial with it being a little pocket camera. The still pictures aren't that great, but that's to be expected since it's job is to record video.

You will DEFINITELY need a memory card. I got a 16gb card at the time of purchase, but when I got it today I started recording without putting it in and couple only do about a minute of recording before it was full.

But again, im VERY impressed with all the goodies it comes with, the upload program, and quality of it. I would recommend you go to youtube and other places and see some sample videos.

5 out of 5 eggsWhoa!! Fun, fun, funnnnnn!

Pros: This is one fun little camera! It works as advertised...well, maybe it even works a little better than advertised. It is so easy to video; so easy to transfer files...who'd guessed? Video quality is great for the basic stuff it's asked to do. No complaints about it or Newegg! I think I will buy more for gifts this year!

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price

Pros: Good resolution.. as good when still as my 600.00 panasonic HD camcorder. Sound reproduction from close up is good.

Cons: Digital zoom stutters, no IS whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: Great for simple, basic camcorder use. Get a 4 MB card with this and you have all you need.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome HD camera

Pros: awesome camera!!! can handle splashes..even has a water proof case you can buy! I used this on a recent water skiing trip....awesome HD. Some compare it to a cheap camera phone---they are wrong. I think it easily beats any regular analog camera.... and pricewise it beats all the HD cams out there. The sound is monaural---ie not stereo....but what do you expect.

seriously, if you want to conviently record something in HD quality, it. Don't expect professional results, but I do not think you will be disapointed

Cons: not stereo sound.....def not surround sound either

Other Thoughts: awesome!!! buy it!!!! better that the 4 letter word branded other HD camera sold by a networking company.....CHEAPER TOO!!! buy a camera from a PICTURE/PHOTO company!!!
