Pros: Great UI. The touch screen is very customizable, allowing you to add shortcut icons for the settings you use most. (and each mode can have different icons)
Low light indoor ability is second to none in the P&S auto class. And for such a tiny camera and internal lens, it's got a nice wide angle for indoor shots. You can get a lot in the frame without having to move all the way back to get it in.
I-Sweep Panorama mode is great. Pick the direction you want to go (horizontal or vertical) push the button and move the camera. It does the rest, and it does a really good job of it!
The HD video smokes anything in the way of still cameras, except the other cybershot line with the same specs, sensor and processor. I had a Flip MinoHD and there is no comparison. I returned the Flip because of poor video. The TX7 is just as good as my $900 HD Handycam, but it fits in your jeans pocket! I actually think video is the strongest aspect of this tiny little gem.
Cons: Battery life isn't great when shooting video, but ok when shooting stills. I would reccommend at least 1 spare battery.
If you're not used to the form factor of the T series, it can take some getting used to. Not the shape most people are used to. If you hand it to someone else to take a shot of yourself, expect to see their finger in the picture. You'd better keep the wrist strap on as it's a little awkward to hold. It's best to pinch it on top & bottom with your index finger and thumb.
Other Thoughts: Of course it doesn't come with any memory stick. I picked up a 16gb SDHC (TS16GSDHC6-P2) for about $40. Be sure to get a class 6 for smooth video recording.
I picked the silver one, it's actually darker in person, and I really like it the best of all 3 colors. It doesn't show any fingerprints at all (except for the touch screen of course) The Blue one I saw in stores shows prints like crazy.
Read some professional revies on this thing, you will be impressed. And check youtube for some video reviews too.

Great Cam

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: *Great pics in low *Slim! love how slim this camera is *HD video is just as good as my HDR-SR1 if not better *Audio for video is not bad.
Cons: *Battery life, about 2 hrs *Exta battery, about 50 buck! *Case, Super Glossy. Finger prints! *Touch screen needs improvement a bit slow.
Other Thoughts: This could take the place of a video cam, if you can get a hold of a few batteries. Other than poor battery life, this guys a champ.
