5 out of 5 eggsBest value superzoom

Pros: Good picture quality. Very reasonable priced at $169. Zoom works well.

Cons: DRO interfere with color. Turn it off will improve the color. No way to change color saturation.

Other Thoughts: This is the 6th sony I purchased. Never used the cable once. Just buy a card reader or use the computer's built-in card reader. It is more efficient to transfer pictures that way than using USB cable. I do not understand why people make a big issue out of it. Besides if you never use this camera, how can you write a "review"?

4 out of 5 eggsNice little camera

Pros: This camera is small, sleek, and doesn't have 1 million things going on, but the "behind the scenes" operations in the menus and options is great. I love it. It does exactly what I bought it for, and the quality of the photos is great!

Cons: None thus far. I will only add that the cord is not preferable, but read my "Other Thoughts".

Other Thoughts: If you are going to complain and fuss about something like a cable, just for being proprietary, you have bigger issues. This cable is fine. Use it, take care of it, and don't be rough with it! If you take care of something it will last a long time. Otherwise, just order a new cable online! Otherwise, you should never have to order another cable unless you easily loose things, or you dont take care of your stuff.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Camera

Pros: All around great. At first I was worried I wouldn't get enough zoom with a cheaper point and shoot, but sony made it possible. The zoom really is great and the overall quality of the image is stunning.

Cons: Photo's are quite noisy in the dark and like other reviewers have said, the proprietary data cable is a little annoying.

Other Thoughts: It breaks my heart when someone gives a product 1 egg just to agree with another reviewer. The proprietary cable does have some advantages though. Since I will be traveling with this camera, it is nice to have only one cable I need to travel with. I couldn't carry around a usb cable AND an HDMI/AV cable in my camera bag.

3 out of 5 eggsproprietary data cable

Pros: 16mp - little - good zoom.

Cons: Another proprietary Sony data cable - why SONY – USE STANDARD CABLES – Never again will buy another Sony.

Really - will all the USB stands do you need another?

Other Thoughts: Stop with the freaken proprietary parts. I will not buy Sony any more.
