4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for the price for casual use

Pros: Built-in ND filter!
Great picture quality.
Panoramic pictures!
Video recording.
Tripod support.

Cons: No manual focus.

Aperture not as adjustable as I would have liked.

White balance adjustments required.

Must take off lens cap before turning camera on.

Manual settings lacking in potential adjustments.

Video recording demands for non-varying distances (else auto-focus kicks in).

EV (exposure compensation) adjustments only possible under certain modes and NOT in manual mode.

Lens cannot be replaced!

Other Thoughts: In order to take good pictures with this camera, you HAVE TO let the camera finish auto-focusing. This is done by slightly holding down the button. Pressing the button further (i.e. all the way down) takes the picture. If you don't allow for auto-focus to work (which may take a while depending on your settings and object of reference, though it is usually fast enough to work with), then the image quality will be horrible! You know the camera is in focus when the focus square(s) turn green!

NOTE: If you set the camera to MAX for the battery saving setting, the camera may not take zoomed in pictures and may automatically shut itself down claiming low-battery life!

If you are looking for something not too complex, this may be for you. If you're looking for something with more manual adjustments, you might want to consider getting a more expensive camera.
