1 out of 5 eggsNot Waterproof, Poor Customer Support

Pros: There are none.

Cons: Not waterproof, poor customer service, fragile camera, misrepresented

Other Thoughts: The camera leaks water. When you send it back to Panasonic, they will devise with a reason that it is not covered by warranty and either attempt to charge you for a repair or refuse to repair the camera outright. They will be nice to you on the phone until it is time to deliver the bad news, and then when they are done "evaluating" the camera, they will not be nice when you ask for a replacement or your money back. This has happened to me and a lot of other people -- you will see that if you do a quick search on the web. Panasonic is an evil company and their support is anti-consumer for some reason. Go with a Canon, GoPro, or some other brand -- do not put your trust in a product by this terrible company.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat durable pocket camera

Pros: Durable, fast start up, fast pictures, geo tagging, great pictures for a pocket camera, good low light pics (I hate flash pictures), even takes reasonably good pictures from a moving train (low blur).

Automatically corrects your time stamp for your location.

Cons: Some of the menu trees are not that intuative. The interface jack isn't one of the standard USB sizes.

Other Thoughts: I haven't taken it diving, but it does well in the rain. The battery life is a bit limited if you use the location stamping.

Overall the best pocket camera I have seen.

Get a faster speed SD card or it will keep warning you that it can't take video.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT camera for the price!

Pros: very portable and extremely durable! My son actually dropped it next to the pool and no issues at all! It hit the side of the pool and feel to the bottom. I went down to get it and not a scratch. This will be going with us on all of our vacations from now on.

Cons: None. Was perfect for all situations.

Other Thoughts: I was a bit worried after the first poster's review but after doing ALOT of research outside, this is the best camera for the buck! We took this puppy to our vacation in the Bahamas and used it as our primary camera the whole trip! It took quite the beating from my son (dropped it into the pool a couple of times). Through all of that, this camera kept producing awesome pictures and very clear videos. Another cool feature is the built-in GPS. It new all the landmarks that were at... that's SWEET! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Just be sure to follow the care and maintenance guide once you take it out of the water and you'll love it as much as I do.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY THIS

Pros: - takes pictures
- easy to store, hold and operate

Cons: - poor image quality
- poor video quality
- unreasonable price

Other Thoughts: one egg just because zero eggs is not an option. unfortunately, it's returnable (to newegg) for replacement only
