5 out of 5 eggsVery happy camper

Pros: Got this for my daughter so she can take videos of my grandsons and she has done a lot now if she would just get them all onto DVD and give me copies of them after all I gave her a 50 pack of 4.7GB and a 25 pack of 8.5GB blank discs as well as a 75 pack of CDs

Cons: none that she can find

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: Lightweight and small

Cons: Picture quality is not great. My pocket camera takes movies that are just as good. The quality of the still pictures is terrible.

2 out of 5 eggsSo so

Pros: Great zoom, lighting, stabilization features.

Cons: Only 1080i, not p, so you get bad aliasing on stripes or other such fine detail.

Other Thoughts: Just get the V500K instead, it does real 1080p. No onboard memory, but you can put a 64GB SDcard in it just the same. Has slightly better zoom specs. Even comes with a better version of the packaged software (which gives the big bonus of 2D to 3D conversion).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Work as it supposted to, sharp @ full HD quality

Cons: still picture not as sharp as my 12M camara, but then again I wouldn't expect to be equally good as camara. ( I think is 2.1 M lens in still picture Max quality setting)

3 out of 5 eggsgood picture

Pros: easy to use. cheap, four video quality settings. easy memory upgradable. easy to focus.

Cons: too small. I missed recording some of the time because I could not tell wheater recording or not. battery life at about 2.5 hrs.

Other Thoughts: you can view your recordings using your camera to play the many separate files that are created. can be easily plugged in to your computer or tv to view your full movie otherwise you will have to know a little about video editing if you wish to distribute your recordings. Use adobe premier or Pinnacle they work ok. Use a AMD or Intel four core or better. Video editing will grab 100% cpu power. Use plenty of cooling for your internal parts specially the CPU otherwise your system and CPU will overheat and cause overall system performance degradation.

5 out of 5 eggsNo issues to report, very happy

Pros: -Works as advertised.
-16GB built-in memory (I believe its 5 minutes per GB at highest quality setting).
-Great zoom and focusing.
-Impressed with full HD video quality at default settings.
-Comfortable to hold and easy to setup and use even for newbie camcorder users.
-No issues with transferring .MTS files from camcorder to Windows 7, just plug it in via USB and it automatically detects, installs and transfers files.

Cons: Only thing I can think of is I wish it also came with a mini HDMI cable to connect directly to my HDTV.

Other Thoughts: This is my first HD camcorder so I am inexperienced, but am completely satisfied. I chose this Panasonic over the competitors because it advertised having important features like 16GB built in memory and a good zoom which was better than other available choices in this price range.
