2 out of 5 eggsWatch for leaks!!!

Pros: Waterproof (for 7 months), great for documenting some fun times at the pool and lake! Took great above water pictures, underwater pictures were also good and comical with a 3 year old! Great deal at Christmas with free 8GB card. Battery lasts much longer than our Fujifilm ever did.

Cons: Leaked after 7 months. NEVER taken more than 2 feet underwater (rated for 23ft) and we ALWAYS make sure that the battery door is closed and locked! Have never opened the battery door unless we were home in a dry environment. Opened battery door to charge the battery before a pool trip and noticed moisture. Tried turning on camera and screen is white and has a streak across it. Not happy...

Other Thoughts: Will be calling Panasonic for a replacement on Monday. Will update review if all goes well.

5 out of 5 eggsunderwater camera

Pros: bought for my wife. I HAD a high end Sony underwater camera tx 20. when snorkeling in Mexico was climbing/ ladder toget on the boat. The Sonymust had caught on something because the battery/card door was wide open and full of sea water. When I informed my wife she asked why I did not lock the door, Because Sony does not have a lock compared to the Panasonic. I went right out and a bought the same model but in blue to finish out our vacation. Both cameras worked underwater no problem.
Great underwater pictures. I would recommend to a friend

Cons: not as polished as higher price underwater camera if advance features you need this is not the camera for you

5 out of 5 eggsDescent Underwater Camera

Pros: Easy to use camera that shines for underwater usage. We used a friends or snorkeling in the islands and liked it so much we purchased when on special. Still waiting to put this one through it's paces and check for leaks as others have said.

Cons: As with the rugged cameras the zoom is less than impressive compared to other point and shoot options, but that is not why you purchase this particular model...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Pocket Cam

Pros: Great size for a pocket, easy to carry around, a great supplement to a SLR. The upgrade from telescoping rings means fewer moving parts, and the sealed camera greatly reduces dirt and wear.

Cons: none really for 99% of the world. some prosumers / pros may comment about spherical abrasions with the lens while at max zoom, but such people would surely over a thousand dollars in SLR gear.

Other Thoughts: I owned the TS-10 before this and it too is great, both are working great and going strong.

2 out of 5 eggsnot so beatiful

Pros: design in awesome. easy to use.

Cons: the most important thing for a good camera is their ability to produce a good picture. but definitely not this camera. the pic size is large but the pic quality is terrible.

Havent try under water but above water is definitely a total lame.

4 out of 5 eggsSmall and Solid

Pros: Camera is small and lightweight (but perhaps heavier than you would expect for the size). Pictures are sharp and the auto settings seem to work well. Still working with the other mene settings and testing the product under other conditions. Good pictures in lower light. Bright LCD screen. Dual locking mechanism for memory card to keep out water and dirt.

Cons: Menu is not that intuitive, but not difficult. Appears to lack a lot of settings in the menu. Zoom range is small.

Other Thoughts: Good PHD camera for all weather conditions. This is not a pro line camera by any means, but given the rugged build, it should suit somebody who take most pictures at a close range or want the wide angle shot on landscapes. Would be good for family travel to adverse condtions (white water rafting, the amusement park - water rides). Need neck strap or other anchor for active use!!! Would attach a floater to it for water activity - it will sink.
