SABRENT SBT-WCCK USB 2.0 USB Color Web Camera with Built-in Audio Microphone

Pros: Haven't found one yet...

Cons: I bought 3 of them for my kids. Two installed on Dell/Vista laptops, one on a Dell/XP laptop. This doesn't work with Skype or Yahoo IM on a single machine using either the windows drivers or the sabrent drivers. Tech support is virtually non-existent.

Other Thoughts: Definate case of you get what you pay for.

Pros: I don't see what all the fuss is about . . .plugged it in, Windows 7 found all the drivers and works fine. Called sister to test it and the picture and sound quality are better than my previous web cams.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Can beat this for the price, I would definitely recommend!

Pros: Cheap and doesn't look awful physically.

Cons: Very poor performance. Frame rates are usually less than 10, which makes you look very blurry if you move at all while the cam is looking at you. I would not recommend this camera to anyone. The driver is also hard to find, as it took me months to find it on the internet when I couldn't find the disc, and it won't work with XP without that driver.

Cons: This is my fourth webcam and the picture quality is horrible. No matter how I try to adjust the settings the picture is overly bright and washed out, not too mention not sharp. Unacceptable.

Pros: Cheap. Windows found the camera without needing to install drivers. Microphone worked ok but sounded a little hollow.

Cons: The image quality is terrible. Grainy, and dark. I bought an IMicro camera at the same time from Newegg and set them up side by side. The image difference is very noticeable. I bought the 2 cameras because they are inexpensive and while not expecting great I was hoping one of them would be decent. It wasn't this one..

Other Thoughts: If you like looking at things when it is almost dark, and through a screen. Then this camera is for you. If you like clear sharp images then I would look elsewhere.

Pros: Great for use on laptop. Just need to carefully remove each time after using. Great spring clip securely fits laptop frame. Nice form for desktop setting.

Cons: Did not get it to work on an XP Home Edition and/ or Celeron processor desktop - even with search for driver online...however; works well on XP Professional Edition.

Other Thoughts: So light, accidentally dropped unit on hardwood floor - ouch! But no major damage was made. Manufacturer had loads of downloads to test. Not needed on alternate operating system version...

Pros: It's a 10 dollar Vista x64 compatible webcam. What's not to love? It works, and Vista found drivers for it (no hunting for a mfgr website to dl from).

Cons: I took off an egg because the mic doesn't work on mine. I tried it with both my Audigy2 ZS and my onboard sound, and neither worked. Even tapping on the housing didn't get a response.

I didn't take off an egg for this, but the picture quality is very grainy. It's a cheap cam, so this is to be expected.

Also (another non-deduction complaint), this cam comes with a built in clip to secure it to an LCD. The clip doesn't open far enough to fit my Acer 20".

Other Thoughts: I bought this to talk to family members on Yahoo. There was no configuration required, it worked fine right out of the box. If you want to keep in touch with friends and family but don't want to spend a fortune, buy this.

Pros: Cheap. Pretty good video quality for video chat. have not tried the microphone on it but i would expect it to work fine. and did i mention its cheap!

Cons: The software it comes with is not the greatest but at 10 who cares. if u want better software buy something more expensive.

Other Thoughts: People have said that the install disk it comes with doesn't work. but it worked fine for me..... read the directions... it helps.

Pros: You got a camera and a microphone all in one. If you need drivers just go to sabrent.com to get the drivers.

Cons: There are no drivers for the mac.

Pros: Cheap. Newegg accepts returns.

Cons: Totally busted. I bought two at the same time, and neither worked at all. The install program crashed on XP. Getting support was difficult.
