1 out of 5 eggsWasted Money

Pros: Absolutely None!

Cons: Never worked right from the start.....after taking a few pictures it would turn off on it's own and then would not turn back on. Then after the 30 days were up, it wouldn't work at all.

Other Thoughts: With this many complaints, NEWEGG should quit selling this item.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat point and shot camera

Pros: It's a nice entry level point and shot camera. Menus takes some time getting use to them. Great pics, nice size screen size.

4 out of 5 eggspleasantly surprised

Pros: Bright flash, manual mode allows customization of everything but white balance. Video mode works well outside with enough light. Anti-shake. Very compact. Even though recertified, everything was factory sealed and functioned properly. Rechargeable battery lasts much longer than any other p&s on AA's.

Cons: Same old story with p&s cameras. That annoying delay from shutter pressed until image captured (what feels like 5 minutes).

Other Thoughts: Originally bought for one of my in-laws. Got it and liked it so much I kept it. Compact and easy to take along compared to my DSLR's (I own a few D80's, a D90 and a D300s purchased here on the 'egg).

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: It looks nice. It worked well while it worked and it had some pretty cool effects.

Cons: It only worked for 1 week. It worked great and then the lens stopped shutting. After the lens finally shut it started making a shorting out sound every time I went to turn it on. Now it only stays on for 3 sec and then shuts off. Unfortunately, this was a Christmas gift, bought in Nov., so it can't be returned. Thanks New Egg. and Polaroid.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this camera.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera

Pros: The camera is really small and lightweight so it can be carried around everywhere. The time from pressing the button to take the picture and the picture actually being taken is really fast. (aka, good shutter speed). The color is an added bonus.

Cons: There is no instruction manual, only a computer disk with the information on there, so in order to find out about the diffrent camera settings you need to sit at a computer to read through a .pdf file. The camera it's self I have not been able to find any con's yet.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: Visual, it's a cute camera.... Functional, I have no idea...camera never worked.

Cons: The battery for this camera never worked. After charging it for a full 24 hrs, only to for it to say battery needs replaced. Of course it was a xmas gift, and I bought on or near black friday so the 30 day warrenty has expired. I think new egg should extend the 30 day refund policy around the holidays, or do the right thing and send me a new battery.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: good looks good price nice screen size. I wish I could say more.

Cons: We never got it to work right due to a malfunctioning shoot button. Unfortunately we didnt discover this problem until Christmas morning, whcih was of course after the return approval date. so we get no help from new egg.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for the Price

Pros: Overall, an easy to use camera that takes decent pictures. Lots of pre-sets for commonly encountered environments. Small enough to slip in a pocket but not so much that it's hard to handle. Battery life is also fairly good, especially if you the default flash setting to OFF and bump down the LCD brightness. LCD resolution is sufficient for previewing shots; the ZOOM and PAN functions help. Lastly, the manual is well-enough written and illustrated to be useful for novices.

Cons: Sensitivity is enough that the act of shutter depression can often cause blurring, particularly when flash is turned off; use the easily toggled Stabilizer (it's the right side of the Power ON/OFF button) to fix . The Auto-Focus sometimes get confused, but that is the nature of Point & Shoot cameras. Lastly, the camera does not get recognized correctly when set to Computer mode (USB Mass Storage) and connected to either Linux (Ubuntu Karmic) or NetBSD _if_ there is an SDHC memory card installed (mine is 8GB, the max. supported) ; work-around is to use PTP (Pirinter mode) plus gphoto2 to access photos via the USB cable. No problems is using without the SDHC card installed but then you don't have much space to work with.

Other Thoughts: Definitely need a case for this camera as it's easy to mar the finish and get crud around the working parts. I bought the Case Logic ECB-1 LIME EVA Compact Camera Case which fits this camera well and compliments the orange colour well. A better battery charger may also be warranted (included charger is rather poorly constructed).
