Flip, Flop!
- Pros: Very portable and easy to use. Comes is a nice box. Plugs into a USB and works like a removable drive. No need to install the software...
- Cons: The one I received was defective. A green verticle bar would appear on all captured videos. Flip Video recorders are a bit overpriced for their video quality. Other devices, that cost 1/2 - 3/4 as much, have better video quality and more features. I bought the Flip because I fell into the hype of the media and wanted it for Xmas. I replaced it with another brand recorder and it is much better!
- Other Thoughts: Do a little research before buying a flash memory camera. While the Flip Video is very portable, other recorders have more options for a fraction of the price. Newegg even carries a couple of them.
- Pros: Simplicity in operation. Simple consice instruction guide. Feeling of success with first use. Shoot video, load to computer, self loading software, and view results.
- Cons: No Cons for non professional users. Captures the everyday moments in life.
- Other Thoughts: We bought for family members after our Son was killed in a head-on car collision. We're left with still photos, but no sound of his beautiful voice or actions.

Great little camera
- Pros: USB rechargeable, fast easy use. SIZE, SIZE, SIZE. Great battery life. Works great for indented use.

- Other Thoughts: Wife and I bought this for taking short video clips of our 1st new born child. Great size, easily fits in a pocket, smaller than my cell phone. Sister-in-law has the model down that isn't rechargeable and there is quite a noticeable difference in size. Of course a month after I have mine they come out with a HD version. Still a great camera. We have yet to run the battery past half. We normally only shoot up to a minute at a time.
