Pros: It works excellently, never had a problem with it. It's a nice little design and functions well for the price. It's video isn't bad considering the price, and it has worked well for recording my cat doing all of the odd things that she does. I have not tried messing with settings too much and have mostly used it casually from time to time, so I wouldn't be able to tell you much for technical details.

Cons: It is a shame it doesn't come WITH a charger, it takes quite some time to charge while connected to your computer and the flip software is very poor. Videos default with flips own unique codec, and it can be a hassle to put it in the type of video format you want. This is a HUGE annoyance and a big con, but I still give it five eggs for functionality of the actual product.

Pros: As long as you don't expect this camera to do more than it was designed to do, and as long as nothing breaks, you will be quite happy with it. The minimalist design is a real pleasure when contrasted with some of the kitchen-sink products on the market these days. Even serious photographers can appreciate the always-ready, no-thought-required nature of this product.

Cons: The lens cover is easy to break and the manufacturer is not very helpful as far as getting it fixed is concerned. It's easy to find DIY fixes on the web, but you really shouldn't have to do so.

Other Thoughts: I wonder what happens when Cisco routers break. Do network admins just Google "cisco router broken frammis cover" or something?

Pros: This is very easy to use and works well outside. It outputs to MP4 format, so it is easy to play on lots of devices directly from the camera.

Cons: The camera lens is flush with the front of the camera. It is very easy to get fingerprints on when turning on and off, very easy to brush with a finger in normal use. Even worse, if you lay it down with the lens down, the lens scratches easily (found out the hard way).

Pros: Great little Camcorder....lots of fun, great quality. Ordered a second one today!

Pros: It is easy to use. High Definition. Easy to carry. For non-professional people it is perfect.

Cons: Battery died after a few month.

Cons: 1, may be a random problems, Google flip ultraHD batteries problems, you will find a lot of people like me, have problem recharging the batteries. so i just use normal batteries.

4, very very bad customer services, they don't really read your email and have to ask the same question again and again. wasted so many time to deal the them.
5, no HDMI cable, you cannot watch the video through TV, you have to buy the cable for extra cost.

Other Thoughts: my ultra HD is not turn on after exactly 12 month. if the customer service can give me a solution in timely manner, i may buy another flip.

after 2 weeks more then 10 emails contact the customer services, i give up and just bought a Kodak Zi8. i don't understand why they take so long to just come up a solution.

Pros: Very, very easy to use. If camcorder is steady and your subject isn't moving, this takes great video. Good for small (screen area size, not file size, meaning not HD) web videos.

Cons: Very poor low light performance (especially compared to my Panasonic miniDV) and basically this should only be used outdoors and maybe inside with lots of natural sunlight through a window. Does not have image stabilization which is a must if you plan on recording while walking (or even moving). Your hand must be so steady in order not to see frames jumping. Also, there is noticeable blur when your subject is moving or even worse if you are moving the camera AND your subject is moving. This reduces it's use to very specific situations which at the moment I'm hard pressed to find.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a travel camcorder for quick, spur of the moment video. My intention was to eventually replace my miniDV camcorder with a smaller version, such as this, but these little guys just aren't there yet. Image stabilization is necessary and I would pay more for a compact camcorder that had one. If you only plan to use this for lame Facebook and YouTube uploads then you've found your camera. If you plan to archive your videos and use them for home movies, I urge your to look elsewhere. Despite this, I believe Cisco is on the right track with Flip, and if they just add IS and more bells and whistles, I would even consider buying a better model, if they are going to make one.

Other Thoughts: I love it and would recommend it to a friend. Much better than the old clunky video camera that was 1,000 bucks in my day.

Pros: Easy to use! amazing. My wife is absolutely NOT a techie and she found it EASY to use both by itself and also when plugged into the usb port. The video quality is outstanding, the audio is also VERY good with no overdriving or wavering in sound both in quiet and loud applications. If you are holding it however and talk to your subject, your voice will come over a bit louder.

Cons: Wide angle is lacking a bit. The format is wide screen and is perfect for 16:9 tv's but if i am using it myself on my 13 mo. old daughter or objects close to me i find the need for a wider angle lens necessary for any work closer than 2 feet. the focus is not maintained at just under a foot, but those are the only complaints. hardly any other cameras out there are better than this and will exhibit the same CONS or be even worse. the wide angle is the reason i gave it 4 stars....the digital zoom is actually very nice but it needs some sort of mechanical wide angle and macro setting to truly make it fully functional for everything you could ever want.

Other Thoughts: it has 2 hours of recording. I don't care if it does not have a flash card slot....it is not NEEDED! we have been recording daughter moments, animal moments, a move across the country, all kinds of things and we still have alot of space left on it. If you need something that can handle more than 2 hours of recording than you need something more professional that is not a pocket camera.

Pros: Nice resolution, very easy to use point and click technology. Looks great in high light conditions. Very easy to transfer to computer. Mac compatible.

Cons: Doesn't look that great when hooked up directly to TV via mini HDMI cable. Need alot of light to really look good.

Other Thoughts: Product is designed for close up video so it does not have a zoom worth anything. It takes great video in good light conditions and outside during the day.
It is worth the money
