Pros: Allows you to use 2 rechargeable batteries at once or 6x AA batteries.

Adds a release button and controls for vertical shots.

It makes the camera bigger which is nice for big hands.

Works with my T3i

Other Thoughts: If you are going to be shooting on AA spend the extra $$ and get some good lithiums.

I didn't notice this at first but when you take the battery cover off your camera there is a space for it next to the part that "replaces" the battery so you don't lose it.

Pros: Very comfortable grip. Comforms perfectly to my T2i. Provides longer battery life for shooting via dual batteries. Comes with a AA battery tray in case of a canon battery malfunction.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: Love this battery grip. Had one for my Xt and loved that one.
