Pros: It extends as it suppose to.
Cons: Not only it reduces the magnification of the viewfinder to 70%(which for me was a bad thing), it also reduces the view drastically from a square to a round viewing area and makes it blurry, especially around the edges . the manual focus on the camera is not able to compensate so that way manual focus is out of the question.
Other Thoughts: easy solution: take all the inside out and use just the casing.Back to square viewing area and no blurry edges anymore. Works for me though...

Pros: Fit my Rebel T2i perfectly, as you would expect for an OEM part.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: IMHO, the T2i standard viewfinder makes you have to shove your nose/face into the LCD too much. This product made things more to my liking.
