The Sunpak 620-520D Tripod is perfect for shooting movies or still-images at any age or skill level.

The panhead type is a three-way, posessing separate, lockable pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements.

The hinged platform allows the user to rotate the camera platform 90 degrees from horizontal (landscape) orientation to vertical (portait) orientation.

The Sunpak 620-520D Tripod features a quick-release feature which includes a small removable platform that can be quickly affixed to the head of the tripod and locked in place with a lever.

This feature speeds things up considerably because you don't have to unscrew your camera or lens from the tripod each time you want to mount something else on the tripod.

It is also unlikely that the tripod will move from its set position when you are making such switches.

The leg is split into three sections and has a flip lever leg lock.

The Sunpak 620-520D Tripod also includes bubble levels that let you level the tripod and its platform precisely when shooting landscapes, architecture or any scenic situation.

4 out of 5 eggsA Decent Tripod

Pros: Its lightweight, tall, and seems to stand sturdy with my Nikon Coolpix L120 on it. The two different levels make it easy to get a nice straight picture. The clamps that lock down the legs seem built well, and unlikely to break.

Cons: There is a lever/crank that raises or lowers the height of the platform the camera sits upon. That crank arm is very flimsy and if you (like I did) don't unscrew the bolt that holds in the height rod, that arm will snap in half when you go to crank it. No Biggie as I can still raise and lower by simply pulling of pushing the platform.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the above mentioned, this truly is a good tripod. I have used it to make a few youtube videos and take pictures of the great outdoors (I do a lot of Hiking). Overall, I am pleased. For the Price you cant beat it.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: - Small.
- Low.
- High.
- Adjustable.
- Bubble level centering (2).
- Adjustable turning thingies to make sure its either set or loose.
- Nice feet to sit on.
- Long legs.

Cons: - None!

Other Thoughts: I love this product. I initially bought it to make reviews of products and what not and it turns out to be really high and really low depending on the adjustability of it. And for the price? Wow, its worth it. If you go to Radio Shack you get some for $12 but they are not long or adjustable.

I'll be putting a review of it at some point on itistechtime on YouTube.
