Pros: Works fine on my Canon HFS100. No lens flaring in the sunlight. Protects the lense from getting dirty as well.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Fit and finish is good. It is made of quality anodized aluminum (feels aircraft grade), not cheap malleable aluminum. Nice knurling and machine work.

In taking pictures in bright sunlight, I had no flaring

Other Thoughts: Buying three more for replacements and to protect my mom's lens. (she was unscrewing the filter and sharing between two lens) So inexpensive it wasn't worth the hassle.

Pros: Very close tolerance on the male threads... nice snug fit on my Canon EF-S 55-250mm. The female threads on the filter are also very good. My lens cap and circular polarizer also fit very well. I see no image degradation at all using this filter. Great price.

Cons: None that I see.

Other Thoughts: As photographers go, I am a rank amateur. My experience with other optics goes back 18 years. I am very happy with this filter!
