5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stand

Pros: This thing is great for the price. It has a level, everything that should be metal is, and it is light weight. This thing is great for your entry level photographer.

Cons: Nothing at the moment.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it! Excellent!

Pros: I love this tripod. Admittedly, I am an amature, far from an expert, and this is my first tripod. However, going by those standards, I am really happy with it. I think these lighter tripods are just about as good as a heavier one, and this one seems to have all of the features that I'd need.

Cons: I heard in another review that this tripod doesn't pan smoothly for video shots, and I've noticed with my experience that that may be true. It is not the end of the world, as you can grab the head mount and steer the pan more smoothly with your hand as opposed to the bar attched to the head. I guess that isn't exactly pro, but I still love this tripod overall.

I suppose if you were out in super windy conditions, or on a boat or car, you'd want a heavier tripod, but this is perfectly fine for all other conditions. I also wouldn't mount a huge 50 lb camera on this-it is made for the lighter, modern cameras.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I really do love this tripod!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product - good starter Tri-pod

Pros: This is my first tri-pod. I was looking for something cheap and this was on sale at the time (wishing I bought more than one). The tri-pod is very stable and travels well.

Cons: I have not thought of any after a few months of owning this and using it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little Tri-Pod

Pros: At the time I purchased this, it was discounted $30. I was expecting something on the flimsy side, but all in all this tri-pod is sturdy and functional. Wishing I bought more at the discount for gifts.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: This is my first tri-pod. Mainly use this for family photos and the kids use it for making stop motion movies with a camcorder.

4 out of 5 eggsSturdy enough

Pros: Metal Legs, inexpensive.

Cons: If you are trying to get smooth pans and tilts for film, you will want to buy something else. Also the little hook that is meant for holding the weight to weigh the tripod down is plastic and glued on. Not really functional.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: It's tall and seems to work pretty well. The legs seem a bit more durable than the rest of it.

Cons: It lightwieght so it's a little top heavy with a camera on it.

Other Thoughts: Honestly its a $27 tripod. Its really pretty great for $27. Don't expect it to be a $100 tripod...

5 out of 5 eggsExcellant

Pros: + Lightweight, and easy to use
+ Attachment for digital camera
+ Legs are easily extendable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a Christmas present in 2008 for my mother. She still uses this to this day. 4 years says a lot. If you need a cheap tri-pod, you simply can't beat this one.
