5 out of 5 eggsExcellent server rack piece

Pros: I've been installing these in various businesses for well over a year. Easy to read, install and punch down. The price is just right too. No complaints!

Cons: Nada!

Other Thoughts: I wish Newegg had a $4 overnight like a certain online jungle-themed store. :< But I'm loyal to Newegg, so unless I'm in a pinch I'll buy it here every time!

5 out of 5 eggsNot bad for under $50

Pros: Cant beat it for under 50 dollars, worked for my home network perfectly. nice wiring diagrams.

Cons: not sure how it will handle wires being pulled out and repunched but was rock solid on the first go around

Other Thoughts: All of trendnets products have continued to impress me. They are much cheaper than any other brand and so far i have not had any problems with any of their stuff from patch panels to kvms to switches to wired and wireless nic's.

Pros: Cheap, sturdy patch panel. Easy to read the wiring diagram.

4 out of 5 eggsBasic

Pros: Haven't had any problems. There weren't any issues punching the cables in. Wire diagrams were helpful... its been a few years so reference was convenient.

Cons: Skip this and get something better if you have foil shielded cable.

Other Thoughts: Basic, cheap; just what i needed.

5 out of 5 eggsworks for this novice

Pros: Used for home network setup. No problems on setup and works as described.

Cons: The plastic clips on the back to hold the cable seem a bit flimsy.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Quality

Pros: Good solid construction. When your popping your wires into the clips on the back, the overall feel is nice. When you get the middle they sometimes will bend slightly. I lost my spring loaded tool and had to "manually" wire each plug. It was smooth as butter. Patch cables fit nice and tight. Wire diagram on the back.

Cons: Actual plugs were not metal. Some cable allow you to terminate a ground wire that runs the length of the cable to the actual Cat5 Cat6 plug. Then the plug, plugs into the grounded patch panel. Believe it is called a "drain wire"
Not being a shielded patch panel is not a con since you can choose another if you need to.

Other Thoughts: Most of the cheap spools of Cat5, Cat6 do not have a foil shield or the ground-drain wire so your good to go with this panel. If your going to be using the better cable then you need to find a SHIELDED patch panel with metal plugs so you can ground everything properly from end to end.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product, Good Price

Pros: less expensive than most of the "brand name" panels.

Fits standard racks, and even wall mount panels.

A and B standard diagrams on the back of each course of ports so you can cover over one section and still have a reminder to keep you on the up and up. Packaged nicely.

Cons: No screws or panel bolts included. But I've not seen any included with other panels..

Other Thoughts: Overall satisfied with my purchase, and neweggs timely shipping and delivery!
