Timmeh 1/27/2011 7:05:18 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 5/5	Rating: 5/5Adobe Production Premium CS4 Pros: Very Reliable and underrated. I've been using this software for over two years and it works wonderful. You can take an AVID project into premiere pro to utilize After Effects, then Export it back to AVID. Photoshop of coarse is the industry standard and there's a good reason for it. Illustrator is probly one of my most used programs, and it's a really good one. Sound Booth is better than Audacity for editing audio and bridges with premiere pro for convenience. If you are authoring DVD's then Encore works wonders, custom made menu's, convenient chapter making when working with premiere. If our mighty father who art in heaven invented a special effects editing program it would be After Effects, but unfortunately some programmer beat him to the punch. Cons: You cant bring a Final Cut project into premiere in this version. Still can work with AVID just not FCP. Only problem is using premiere export settings. But I have a solution for that. All you do is load your premiere project into After Effects and render it there. After Effects export settings are just as good if not better than Final Cut Pro.
