3 out of 5 eggsOk product

Pros: Its great for combining, word, excel, pdf's into 1 pdf. Nice drag and drop ability.

Cons: Crashes kind of frequently or shows errors in saving though it did save it correctly (which causes it to change the saved files name.

5 out of 5 eggsCorel PDF Fusion Version 1

Pros: Typical Corel product - very intiutive, smooth install
Easy to move pages between documents.
Love the flick view, page view and assembly view. Have not actually used the assembly view yet.
Tabs at top of page track open documents which allow you to move between open documents more easily. In the navigation pane at the left side of the document, I like the tabs at the bottom to move between bookmarks, pages and comments view.
This package is an excellent alternative to Adobe standard.
PDF Fusion will do most things I normally do with PDF documents.
Well worth the $69 price tag and a very good deal at $49. If you can get the $40 rebate and end up effectively paying $9, it's almost a steal. Wish the rebate would allow more than 1 purchase. I have 4 computers in my household and would eagerly fork out $9/package. After using Corel WordPerfect for years and still miss the ease of use of version 9, Corel has not disappointed me with PDF Fusion.

Cons: Not as feature rich as Adobe 9.0 Pro which I use at work.
Even though NewEgg limits purchases to 5, the $40 Rebate limits persons, households, addresses to one the number of rebates which may be used.

Other Thoughts: During the install prcess, the install asks for the serial number to access the advanced features. I don't know what advanced features Corel means. I would guess that without the serial number all you end up installing is a pdf reader only, but that is just a guess.

4 out of 5 eggsA good replacement for Acrobat

Pros: It is intuative and well laid out. For the price, it is a very good alternative to Adobe Acrobat

Cons: It seems a little cartoonish, other than that, none

Pros: Ease of use across platforms, ease of access to documents, ease of creation of documents

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: You can spend $600 + or you can get PDF Fusion. Does it say stupid on my forehead?

4 out of 5 eggsCofel PDF Fusion

Pros: It's not Adobe PDF Reader; it won't show the same nor is it limited like reader. If you're just reviewing PDF's you have to get accustomed to the GUI of Fusion and unlearn that of Reader. While Reader is a simple interface, Fusion has more capabilites so it's GUI is more complex, but worth it especially if you have to edit your PDF's in any way including highlighting, commenting, and especially adding text.

Cons: No cons. Great software, but it you're expecting Reader on a bit of steroids it's not. It's very different. Bit of a learning curve but more of a slope than a curve.

Other Thoughts: Cheap at twice the price given the capabilities.

3 out of 5 eggsAdequate

Pros: 1. Low cost (was about $35)

Cons: 1. Slow to load onto system.
2. Cumbersome to use.

Other Thoughts: I had bought this as an alternative to Nuance PDF Converter Pro 5, 6, and 7 that I have installed on my various machines.

I bought this because I expected that Corel would produce a quality product as they had with their older WordPerfect Office products. I was very disappointed. I had similar problems as those who rated this product ONE EGG, but I believe it's a better product than that.

If you have a software product that can already create and convert PDF files, stick with that. Corel does not have their act together.
