Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 25 User - Retail doesn't come with technical support!
- Pros: Nice administration of the entire network. Once you have the base system installed, modified AD rights on the server, rebuild group permissions, added IIS users to various groups and modified client firewall settings, it is easy to manage and deploy clients to the network
- Cons: The server component of this cannot be installed on a standard windows 2003 server w/out major changes to underlying security settings on the server. Unfortunately when you call Symantec technical support you hold times are between 30 to 45 minutes, when you do get through you find out that BECAUSE you bought it on newegg IT COMES WITHOUT TECHNICAL SUPPORT. That's right Symantec differentiates between support depending on where you bought it. When you buy it on NewEgg its "discounted" by not having technical support in the price. I feel mislead by newegg and symantec
over priced
