Cons: Kind of pain to install if it is being installed on an existing computer. After 3 attempts to install I had to read the tech site to figure out that I needed to clear the temp folder and internet cache to get it to install correctly. I knew this before, but I always seem to forget. Seems to me that the program should do this automatically when it tries to install. If we can put a man on the moon, then why can't software just install without me having to take extra steps.

Other Thoughts: Took awhile to get it. Not anyone's fault really. We had a bad snow storm come through the south and it delayed all of the mail. Can't hold anyone accountable for that.

Pros: Loads fast and when it scans I can also be playing Call of Duty Black Ops and not notice. System boots in 10-11 seconds after bios. Keeps my system clean with little effort.

Cons: None since the 2009 version came out. And I have it running on 8 systems and a server.

Other Thoughts: It was a memory hog in previous versions but that hasn't been the case since the 2009. I also notice some claiming to be techs. I know a lot of techs and some are pretty good and some I wouldn't let touch my dog. I've put the 09, 10, and 11 versions on a lot of systems with no problems. And the only viruses were on system who let their licenses lapse.
And they all charge by the year thru licensing unless u go for the free ones. Good luck with that.

Pros: I bought the older version of Norton 360 3.0 last year and have not ran into any problems. I needed to renew my subscription so i purchased this. Delivered in 1 day.

Norton 360 can practical do everything necessary on it's own (running live updates, scans, back up, registry clean up and etc. all done in the background and only when your computer is idle) without much supervision. But it also gives you the freedom to adjust the settings to your preference if you're more knowledgeable user.

Norton even updated my older 3.0 version last year to the new version 4.0 as soon as it came out free of charge. So you basically pay for the subscription and get their newest software/protection for a year.

Cons: No complaints so far

Other Thoughts: I have been using Symantec products for years and never had a problem with them. They have NEVER destroying my computer, deleted a program/file i wanted/needed or allowed viruses to take over my computer. This is also a great deal, I would recommend it to my friends.

Cons: the back-up software is a joke, really.
no compression
no password protection for back-up folders
no imaging configurations
Just turn it off and use a real back-up program like Acr*nis

Other Thoughts: other than the back-up, this is literally the BEST security software you can buy. the negative reviews on newegg are ridiculous! I have had norton since IS 2010 and never had a problem with XP, Vista, or 7. and I have it installed on 3 PCs. runs perfect and always has! If you are going to read reviews on norton, look on a professional website that reviews software and you will see that norton is the top of the line, hands down!

Pros: 2nd go round with this version no issues to date. Multiple utilities very much like CCleaner are useful but free for download. Cheaper than Norton Internet Security when on sale with more features.

Cons: Backup utility is less than stellar. Will stop working when subscription runs out. Previous versions would no longer allow updates. This one will kick off the firewall, virus protection, antispam all in one fell swoop even while surfing as I found out.

Other Thoughts: Really a great product. I have used multiple brands over the years and Norton has proven to be the best. The new disable feature is my only major complaint

Pros: Excellent Product, the shell shocker price of 19.99 could not be beat. Norton has gone a long way in the past few years from version 1.0 which I hated and began using an alternative antivirus. I bought the Premier version one day because I wanted an all in one product, I was not disappointed.

Cons: No cons so far.

Other Thoughts: I thought it was the Premier version I bought a couple of weeks before from another retailer for 10.00 more. I was happy with the price and wondered why it was less, no I know. Look at the fine print if you are wanting the Premier. However, it is still an excellent product.

Pros: Cheap!!!
Norton has really worked hard to get themselves out of the slum they were in a few years back. Runs so fast and uses little memory.

Cons: Settings are a little confusing and no way to get back to the main settings page without closing out and clicking settings again.

Other Thoughts: Could make GUI a little better. Looks too corporate.
