Pros: There are only 3 paid anti-virus programs that i will ever recommend to clients, and this is one of them. I tell clients about all decent options, even free versions and go over the difference between the how the companies deal with threats, so the client can feel good about making the best decision for themselves.

Cons: priced a bit high for renewal, but i just wait for a sale.

Pros: Lite weighted, very efficient

Pros: Uses very little memory space, seems to run well for the most part with windows 7.

Cons: Well lets just say, customer support is not their for the end user, so if you have a problem, try to fine someone who used there product before. Regen e-mails to you and responds are worthless at best. My beef is with windows 8 and 8.1 did not and I mean did not like windows 8.1. It crashed my system 3 times and kept turning off my programs. The fix was to remove it. Would be to many false readings and it likes turning off or isolation with app's. Not cool. Also I get tired of the program telling me what and what not to do. Telling me to update windows, gaming programs running, and ruining updates by turning them off, again not cool.

Other Thoughts: I removed it of my computers that had windows 8.1 and my tablet. It works with windows 7, but again it could be better. It missed a couple of viruses that came through on a game down load. but that's why I have a external hard drive. I would not buy this again their is better.

Pros: Have been using Nod32 since v3.0
Settings for both basic and advanced users. Decent built in help and online resources. Lots of custom settings for more advanced users.
- Clean interface, and small memory usage during normal computer use.
Allows for custom exclusions: paths, file types, or specific files.
- Unobtrusive! can protect without being disruptive!

Support has always responded within 48 hours usually within 24 hours.

Cons: incorrect advanced setup might lead to increased memory usage, some false positives (a popular freeware burning program comes to mind).

Other Thoughts: I gave myself a "somewhat high" tech rating as I am not a professional in the computer industry. I would consider myself an advanced novice to intermediate do-it-yourself computer user. I reserve the ''5 - high'' rating for IT, networking, security specialists, and other industry professionals.

Pros: It seemed to give good protection

Cons: After a few months I started getting "unable to communicate with kernel" popup.

I tried an uninstall, and I had to download their software and run in safe mode.

When I tried to reinstall I could not use the product key again - it would not install without a logon & password I apparently had gotten at the first install. I did not have it and attempt to communicate with the company failed (there is no telephone 3, only a form to email.

Never heard back so I am just out of luck.

Other Thoughts: Why do companies work so hard to protect themselves that their product become worthless?

Pros: This is simply the best antivirus program available hands down. I've used it for the past 6 years and have never gotten a virus since I first installed it. I have it installed on all of the systems we own. Nod32 uses very little system resources, and is fully customizable. I use it along side Malwarebytes with zero conflicts. I have no need for anything else. I highly recommend it!

Other Thoughts: I have only one suggestion for this program. You should NOT try to customize the program if you don't understand the ramifications. The Advanced sections can be quite involved. There are excellent tutorials/FAQS on the website that are informative and helpful. The company also has great customer Service, and promptly responds to all queries.

Pros: Haven't had a virus since i started using this in combination with active megabytes protection. Had avast and got a virus, went into safe mode and did a eset scan and it fixed it where avast missed it completely. I put this on all my families computers so they don't call me with virus/malware problems.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Great deal @$60 better deal when on sale.

Pros: + As always, Nod32 has one of the lowest hardware utilization, and haven't had a virus in 3-4 years since i started using it.
+ Free After Rebate!

Cons: - once you activate, all 3 licenses expire in 1 year (which is fine as long as you know this)

Lots of updates
Warns about malware in your downloads
Warns if your operating system is not up to date

Other Thoughts: Although this package just arrived recently, I've been using NOD32 for a while. I could kick myself for not having bought it sooner.
