It is not a resource hog like many of the antivirus software on the market. It also does a good job at catching things. I have had it pop up many times when I click on a link that is questionable. it will block the connection and ask if you wish to proceed. It also offers to scan disks and USB drives when you insert them which is nice. Cons: Can't seem to get the newer version on my PC. We have several computers with ESET on them , all the same version. While the other computers got a shiny new interface for windows 10 this computer seems to be stuck in the windows 7 version. Not a big deal but I want the cool looking upgrade. Other Thoughts: I initially started using ESET when I was shopping for an antivirus that would block malicious or questionable websites.I also wanted a program that would not bog down the computer. I live with someone who likes to click on everything online and does not realize they are infecting their computer. I was removing viruses weekly and of course "it was my fault" they kept getting infected lol. Finally after trying several antivirus programs ESET did the trick, it catches everything and I have not had to clean a virus out of Mr Clicky's computer in years. Almost impossible to get a virus with this setup.
