Not bad
- Pros: Updated directly from Outlook 2003, address book, settings, login and password. Very smooth. Extremely fast shipping.
- Cons: No user's guide, not even a condensed version. It wasn't needed but it would have been nice to have had one. Outlook 2007 no longer supports personal address books so you have to use the contact list. Contact list sorted by first name by default. The option to sort by last name was a bit difficult to find.
- Other Thoughts: For the price and with free shipping this purchase would have been hard to beat anywhere else. NewEgg still reigns as the champion among electronics firms.
Caveat Emptor!
- Pros: It's yellow?
- Cons: Heavy on system resources, not web based, slow to think and act, completely unnecessary.
- Other Thoughts: I would highly suggest using a web based email and if I had to prescribe one it would be Gmail. In this day and age there is no reason to use a separate program for emails, run something out of your web browser, it has endless benefits such as access anywhere, nearly unlimited ONLINE storage space, easy organizational scheme, etc. Not to mention, they are all free!!! I urge you not to spend 70$ on something you really don't need.
Not real happy
- Pros: I really like MS office software BUT!!!
- Cons: If you have home and student like me then you will notice that your stationary / themes in outlook will not work.
- Other Thoughts: MS knows about this little problem but they have not fixed it. As I told MS support they should mark the package or post a warning on the web site about this problem. Your really not getting a full working MS outlook.
