Office guru has it all wrong...
- Pros: Great new user interface.
- Cons: Takes a little getting used to the changes, but it's really not that bad.
- Other Thoughts: Office guru is obviously not really an Office guru. When you save files, the default is in the new format which is not compatible with the previous versions of Office. If you want it to be though, all you have to do is check the little box on the save as dialog that says to save files compatible with Office 97-2003.

- Pros: Exactly what I expected, love it, no problems yet. I use it almost every day for work and school.
- Cons: well.... it is Microsoft
- Other Thoughts: well worth the extra little bit of cash to have it on 3 pc's (mine, my wife's and daughter's) takes a little getting use to, but if you are used to the other office suites, once you get the hang of this, the others seem well outdated.

nice changes
- Pros: Nice interface in Word (took a little getting used to). Opens, modifies and saves older Word documents in compatibility mode so they can still be edited on your older machines using previous versions of Word.

- Other Thoughts: If you're creating a document that you'll edit later on an older version of Word, go into options and change the default to "Lay out this document as if created in (your older version)". This is great for creating homework assignments while assuming the students are running older versions that can't access Word 2007 documents. Now the kiddies won't have to spend their lunch money on new software.
- Pros: Easy to intall and use, of course compatability is key and MS has the market covered when it comes to that.
- Cons: Still slightly buggy.
- Other Thoughts: Great service and fast shipping as always through Newegg.
