Vista Ultimate
- Pros: Easy to install on my new build. I have been so use to watching the blue screen and following the prompts to install an Operating System and I thought that this Windows Vista Ultimate system would be the same. It made partitions and practically installed itself.
- Cons: Some DVD's made with Vista Ultimate will not play on the Windows XP based cmputers at my daughter's school.
Worked..but...GET WIN7!
- Pros: It was a legal copy and it came with a upgrade coupon! Works great, there were a few things it couldn't do. Now I have Windows 7 Ult. and it has no problems at all completely compatible!
- Cons: It used for me 989MB - 1.5GB of RAM and my CPU was always working. My system Idles with a cpu usage of 4-9%
MY CPU is a AMD Athlon 64 2.8 Dual Core. I think it hated my CPU. Now I have Windows 7 every thing works really GREAT! My system idles at 0-1% CPU now and I use 400-600MB RAM
- Other Thoughts: When this had the upgrade it was worth 5 eggs.. Now IMO its worth 1 EGG... Windows 7 totally ROXS!
vista ultimate
- Pros: vary good.........easy to use.....and you can talk to the program......you don't have to know were all the "stuff" is just tell it what you want...........outstanding. compatible with most vista drivers...............
- Cons: a vary large program................takes up about 30 gigs of hard drive................can be "tempermental" at times.
- Other Thoughts: bought this with the windows 7 ultimate upgrade. for the money it is a good deal....... and it's the top of the line Vista and windows 7
