It has performed better than previous versions i owned, all except windows 98 se. Cons: Its Windows lol Resource hungry. Other Thoughts: I have gotten everything I expected from Windows Home Premium. Works well. Never had any trouble with it. Cons: - No Microsoft support. This should be expected. OEM versions are cheaper largely because they don't come with support from MS. I don't have a problem with this, but it may be worth repeating for some people. - Does not allow you to pick your edition of Windows to install. This is probably because it is an OEM edition, but many other 7 and Vista install DVDs will allow you to install and try other editions of Windows such as Professional and Utimate. This would be nice for me as I have other editions of 7 as well, but the work around to have this disc install with a key from another edition is to install with no home key and then use the anytime upgrade with the new key. Other Thoughts: Overall it's Windows 7 Home for people who want to upgrade or install on a machine without paying for full retail, as long as you don't care about needing MSFT's support.
