Pros: It's not windows H8. Bought the three pack for future use when H8 will be the only OS available.

Cons: Price. For an OS that is being put to bed, the price is still expensive.

Other Thoughts: The only people that understand and love windows H8 are under the age of 21. They grew up using nothing but touch devices. H8 doesn't work on desktop or non-touch laptops.

5 out of 5 eggsMore expensive than 3 singles!

Pros: Windows 7 is, by far, the best OS to come from Microsoft in recent history. (Many may argue ever - but Windows 95 was pretty cool back in the day!) Being the Professional addition, this allows the many features lacking in the Home editions, such as joining a domain, remote desktop access, offline file sync, etc. Great OS, which I use to build 3-4 systems a week with. (Microsoft OEM Partner)

Cons: This 3 pack is $10 more than buying 3 singles! Do the math... that's crazy. Whatever happened to discounts for buying in bulk? You used to save roughly $10 per license when buying the 3-5 packs. Ah well...

Other Thoughts: I guess it could save you having to change the "1" to a "3" when buying singles. So that's something.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is what it is...

Pros: It's 64 bit Windows 7. I am an IT systems analyst and use a Windows OS no less than 10 hours a day, every day. Windows 7 is one of the best products to come out of Microsoft in recent years. It's fast, pretty, and full featured.

Cons: Not really a con but a *warning*: most of my clients are within a domain environment. You *MUST* have the Professional/Enterprise/Ultimate version of Windows 7 to join the PC to a domain. It simply isn't supported in the "lesser" versions (Starter, Home Premium, etc.).

Also, you must have at least this Professional version to support Offline File Synchronization. It isn't supported in the "lesser" versions either. Kinda a cheesy marketing gimick, but you owe it to yourself to look at a feature sheet before settling on a particular version of Windows 7.
