4 out of 5 eggsSupporting Ram.

Pros: I have been using Microsoft since Windows ME. I believe with Windows 7 they have reached the pinnacle of the GUI that has been used perhaps that is why they are changing the GUI with windows 8. Installing was a breeze and very quick.

Cons: They could of improved the disk management with this version. They upped the supported memory from 16GB from the PRO to 192 Ultimate. Yet Windows Ultimate still only supports a max size of a hard drive to 2 TB when 3-6 TB drives have been built and price is dropping on them. This will only make the end user more angry.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best from OS from Microsoft

Pros: Very responsive. Little to none program crashes. Recovers quick and painlessly, response time is quick *depending on your computer specs* very easy to use, great short cuts, program support, and software-backing.

Cons: Like all Windows OS tradition, you still get those blue screens of death here and there but that could be due to hardware problems, rarely software. PCs with older Windows OS can't recognize or connect to Windows 7 networking systems due to certain file sharing encryption issues. Windows 7 uses 128 bit, but Vista and older doesn't. Not really a con, but it did take some time for me to figure out why I couldn't set up a networking system for my printer at home that is connected to four computers.

Other Thoughts: Windows 7 really is just a overhauled Vista. Instead of updating Vista to fix all the bugs and nannies, Microsoft decided to make a whole new OS, which I think is one of the best one they made. For some reason, Microsoft has this habit of making awful OS systems every other generation of OS since Windows 95. I think I'll be sticking with Windows 7 till they fix everything that's wrong with Windows 8 for power PC users. For touch screen and mobile, I'm sure it's a great product, but not for gamers, media or PC enthusiasts.

5 out of 5 eggsWindows 7 > Windows 8

Pros: Best Windows OS ever made.

Cons: In my opinion, none.

Other Thoughts: If you are not a person that does Technology for a living and do not want to go through a step learning curve of a completely different OS and want to stay with Windows. I would currently recommend this OS.

1 out of 5 eggsnot a quality board

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the price

Pros: Lots of features

Cons: It did a 4 beep code when I tried to start it so that means the board was junk. So I did a RMA request and I'm shipping it back to MSI

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this board because you have to have a sandybridge processer or it won't work. I have a ivybridge and they did not tell me this board is incompatible with ivybridge processors

2 out of 5 eggsGreat price, not so great legally

Pros: Cheap for 7 ultimate, shipped fast

Cons: This version is an OEM, which according to Microsoft is to be used on a build you intend to sell. If you use it on a personal build, you are in fact legally breaking the End User License Agreement. It's mostly my fault though for buying something I couldn't return due to OEM software policies and my lack of reading. 7 ultimate is great so I'll give it 2 stars

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Works as expected.

Cons: More expensive than pro. I guess you get a few extras that most people will never use. :)

5 out of 5 eggsStill better than Windows 8's UI

Pros: - Has a start button
- Lets me use all of my RAM (64GB)
- Fast as a bat out of you-know-where
- Works with all my software and hardware (unlike Windows 8)

Cons: - A bit pricey, but worth it.
- Being OEM, the license isn't technically transferable to another computer.

Other Thoughts: I would have bought a Windows 8 upgrade directly from Microsoft, but the reasons I didn't go that route and instead went with OEM Windows 7 Ultimate are:

- Although the Windows 8 touch interface is pretty cool, I'd have needed to buy a touch pad to take advantage of it. As a creative professional, I'm already comfortable with Windows original interface. If I had a touch screen I'd probably think differently, but as for how my system is configured right now, Windows 8 doesn't make much sense.

- Because of the changes in Windows 8, it no longer works with my colorimeter, so I'd have to buy a new one. No thanks, I'm quite happy with the one I have.
