I've tried most of them. I previously used Avid Liquid, but that was very difficult to use and unless you use it every day it was impossible to be comfortable with it. This product is very straightforward and can do many complicated things. There are a few little nits, like some of the clip effects that I want to do to every clip have to be done individually (e.g. crop). It does crash once in a while when a start to produce output but that could be a video drive issue and I've never lost data. Overall it's a super product. 0 out of 1 people found this review helpful. My niece's machine is brand new and my machine is 1-2 years old. The disk is basically useless. I even tried making an iso image and mounting it with a virtual cdrom drive. It takes forever to make the image since some of the files are evidently unreadable and then the install throws errors saying the files are corrupt. If you don't activate them, you will be "dead in the water". It happened to me with the previous version after I bought a new Camcorder. 2) There are issues with latest nVidia Drivers (310.10) 3) Tech Support gives nonsensical replies to queries. Just send canned answers that may or may not relate to you question. Other Thoughts: The Cyberlink User Forum community is the real Tech Support for this product. A good feature list compared to similar competitors. 64 bit. Cons: My install disk was not readable. Cyberlink responded quickly and gave me a link for downloading the program install files, otherwise I would have had to mail it back to newegg for replacement. I should have waited until the black friday sale to buy it, could have saved $. Other Thoughts: The interface has lots of buttons, menu lists, sub-windows, right clicks, timelines, etc so it is not immediately obvious where they hid all the features. 3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.
