I used Pinnacle years ago but gave up because it was so slow editing HD footage, v12, and had many glitches. But this is a wonderful surprise! I decided to give Pinnacle one more shot. I edit AVCHD footage, different aspect/res and the first day I got the package I gave it a test drive. I edited 26 min of AVCHD footage 1080P with multiple transitions and several effects in the timeline. I ended up with 18 min movie which I exported to DVD HD/AVCHD. It took 28 min to burn..slow speed..which i chose for best quality. Played it on my 1080P TV...WOW..simply brilliant! This time Pinnacle has done something right! Cons: The only con...This is what the previous versions should have been able to do..but the tech has taken a long time to develope and work out the buggs. Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone looking for a Movie/Video editor that wants more than your avarage consumer kiddy editors out there. This editor does what the pro editors do a fraction of the price! Note: U better have a good CPU and at least 6gigs of ram. CUDA video card a must if u do HD footage and effects.
