multi- player in general is very good

Cons: Only a Teran campaign. I would prefer playing all three races in campaign, but I understand that this allowed them to focus. Also, I have a feeling the expansions are gonna cost the same amount...

Blizzard spends too much time on WOW, SC2 and Diablo 3 are taking too long.

Other Thoughts: Many of the units available in the campaign are not available in multi-player (Terans at least). This makes the campaign a poorer trainer than other games.

Pros: 1. The graphics on ultra a AMAZING!
2. The story line definitely surpassed its predecessor
3. Online is fast and easy to use perfect for newbies and SC1 legends.
4. Don't really see anything wrong with the AI or anything the game runs smooth and u only lag when ur connection is bad.
5. too many more pros to mention, overall best game of the year. EASY!

Cons: Little pricey but you get your money's worth. There will be more expansions :(

Pros: Finally released, a wonderful follow up to the original. The graphics are exceptional for an RTS, campaign storyline will keep you immersed until the end, multiplayer is a blast as always, and the gameplay is everything we've come to expect from Blizzard games.

The new battle.net 2 features are great, with even more coming in the upcoming patch. Cross-blizz-game chat is great for keeping in touch w/ all those friends who play World of Warcraft.

The achievement system provides yet another set of challenges for those who're interested in having something else to do in the game, and easily ignored by those who aren't interested.

Cons: As others have mentioned, slight issues with balance do exist in multiplayer, but this is always the case with RTS games, and blizz has already announced patch 1.1 will start clearing these up.

Other Thoughts: A decent processor and any vid card from a gtx 260 up should let you run this on Ultra settings with no hiccups, in all of its visual splendor.

Buy it. You can't go wrong with Blizzard games, least of all their fantastic RTS titles... this one being the best yet!

Pros: -Campaign is constantly changing it up with unique and fun objectives, all the missions are different and like I said, unique. Not just your typical destroy their base or protect your base or kill so and so.
-Multiplayer is very fun and challenging (at least for me, i'm not the best haha) and very well balanced, which is to be expected. Playing with your friends is a blast whether as a team or just free for all.

Cons: -No lan
-Going to have to ante up some more cash when the zerg and protoss campaigns are released, I can only hope they don't try to charge full price with those.

Other Thoughts: Simply the best RTS out there. Well, at least in my opinion, and maybe a few other people...

Pros: My son loves it! Nuff said......the graphics are really good though. Still can't see why it took so long for it to come out. They may need to go over to where they make halo and learn from them.

Cons: I don't love it......yet. Wish they would take a lesson from the team of halo and learn how to pump out new releases within a year of each other. This long to make starcraft two was silly long! I bought it though, My kid will be to old if they take this long on the next one. Where is diablo 14? Or is it 3? Or should they to take lessons from halo makers?

Other Thoughts: My son loves it! I wish I did! He's a spendapotamous on my dime! Is that a con? DOH! I liked the first star craft, no time to play this one yet. By the time I get around to it I'll get owned by everyone else. Oops.

Pros: Fantastic gameplay, great story line, competitive multiplayer, balanced. Graphics are great for an rts, allowing quick identification of units and easier micromanaging during battles.

Cons: Its going to be sold in three parts, good marketing strategy, considering that people are just going to complain and buy it anyway. Oh, and it took 10 years for them to get this out.

as for glitches or problems running, this game runs remarkably smooth on win7 X64

Pros: 1) Relatively excellent balance as of now - Terran is slightly overpowered, zerg is slightly underpowered. Nothing that makes the game a waste of time to play, and I have faith it will be fixed in time (not that it requires much fixing)

2) Excellent matchmaking system - It ensures you have opponents of your skill level to play against. Sure, the ladder system may be a bit obfuscated (multiple divisions, hard to see who is globally in 1st), but really, you shouldn't be playing this game just to earn ranks. Play for fun, and you'll not be dissapointed with the matchmaking system.

3) Graphics are amazing. Many RTS go too far with the graphics, and with hundreds of units on screen can be cluttered. SCII is gorgeous, while still making the gameplay clear to the player. The graphics don't get in the way.

4) The campaign is just fun. Sure, you may complain about the storyline, but its like a good popcorn flick. The missions are great, and its fun to play through. Don't overthink it.

Cons: 1) No lan play. Not a big deal, as the game DOES list broadband as a minimum requirement, and honestly, most of us have it nowadays anyway. The bandwidth the game uses is minimal, meaning you can have an entire lan party worth of people using 1 connection and not have lag.

2) Achievement system is annoying, and i'd rather not have it. It just gives people who have higher achivement numbers feel entitled. Annoying.

3) No chat rooms... blizzard has said they are going to add them in via patch after release, so I'll go along with it for now, and work on my gameplay while I wait for them to get clan support up and running.

Other Thoughts: The issues are minor, and usually relate to BNET 2.0, not the game itself, which is a work of art. I'd rather have a system like being forced to log on, instead of a CD key, as I can just re-download the software from blizzard if I need to install it on a new computer of mine. I don't have to bother keeping a CD library, or an excel file of CD key's so I can re-install them on my computers.

Cons: -Can't watch replays wit anyone else

Pros: Great Single Player game. Great multiplayer when playing against someone around similar experience level. the cut scenes and voice acting are top notch, as is the music. It is a definite Must Have game!In Short buy it and you will love it. Best real time strategy Game ever made!

Cons: In multi-player if you are playing up against someone who is better than you... You will get rushed and die quickly. Not to mention often! a little pricey for a PC game.

Other Thoughts: Its a bit pricey for a PC game. Not to mention the expansion packs will be like 2 other whole games that should cost around the same. But it is so worth it as the story is interesting and enjoyable. I have owned the game since the release date and I love it!
