Unleash the secrets of a Lost continent.

Since the world was sundered more than ten thousand years ago, the ancient realm of Pandaria, shrouded in fog, has remained unspoiled by war. Its lush forests and cloud-ringed mountains are home to a complex ecosystem of indigenous races and exotic creatures. It is the homeland of the enigmatic Pandaren, a race that celebrates life to the fullest even while under siege by an ancient menace.

The new continent reveals itself to a broken world just as the Alliance and Horde are spiraling ever closer to a war that will consume all of Azeroth. Will the mists of Pandaria part to reveal the world's salvation? Or will the battle to control this rich and breathtaking new land push the two mighty factions over the brink of war and into total annihilation? The answers await within Pandaria's mysterious shores!

  • newegg Challenge Modes The clock is ticking. Your group is making good progress, but you realize that if you don't hurry and work as a team, you will never make it in time. You approach the dungeon's last boss with a look of grim determination on your face; you will get that gold medal this time, come what may. He's almost down, but there are only seconds left on the timer. You yell at your group mates to give it their all for one last push, fingers flying across your keyboard. Finally he drops, and your group screams triumphantly: you've beaten the dungeon's best time. You've mastered its Challenge Mode.
  • newegg Pet Battle System For years, your faithful companion pets have followed you on countless adventures. They've provided you with comfort, company, sometimes even with entertainment and hours of fun. Maybe you only have a handful of pets you really love, or maybe you have made it your quest to capture as many of them as you can. The fact remains, heroes love their little companions... and in Mists of Pandaria, they will take the spotlight in a brand-new way.
  • newegg Battle to Level 90 Ascend to new heights of power as you explore the verdant reaches of the Jade Forest, war with the terrible Yaungol on Kun-Lai Summit, and unlock the secrets of the Mogu'shan Vaults.
  • newegg Master the Power of the Monk Learn the mystic powers of the Monk, World of Warcraft's newest playable class. Destroy foes with the Windwalker's devastating attacks, replenish allies with the Mistweaver's spiritual energies, and shrug off enormous damage with the Brewmaster's unyielding strength.
  • newegg Unleash Pandemonium Set out as a member of the enigmatic Pandaren - World of Warcraft's first neutral race - and join the ranks of either the Horde or Alliance as you enter the conflict brewing on Pandaria's shores.
  • newegg Bestiary The Virmen are an annoyance with the potential to become a serious problem. Rabbit-like pests with powerful hind legs that send them bounding across terrain, Virmen typically live and scavenge out of sight in caves and burrows. But when the civilized races of Pandaria draw near their warrens, the Virmen are a famine on legs.Virmen are inveterate lurkers, awaiting the opportunity to grab carrion, garbage, or actual food whenever they can. They’ll steal and eat nearly anything, then scurry away, leaving behind overturned tables and ransacked trash piles. The menace of the Virmen is only slightly increased by their propensity to wield stolen daggers (or, failing that, sharpened pieces of bamboo) in both hands. Though most Virmen avoid direct conflict, they are not unwilling to attack others in pursuit of the sustenance that drives their every waking moment.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The expansion itself is okay.

Newegg has very fast shipping, and I got this item at a huge discount while they were having a sale.

Cons: The fun in this expansion dies out very quickly. I had fun for months with Cataclysm, but not with Mists.

This product was shipped in a padded envelope, while I would've preferred a box, and so the game's box was quite crushed by the time I received it.

3 out of 5 eggsYup another expansion.

Pros: Sets my mind on something else when i'm hating life.

Cons: Keeps me at my computer desk away from family. Pandas are ugly as hell. In game that is. Cute in real life lol. $15 a month kind of sucks after a while.

Other Thoughts: Been playing since the beginning of Wrath. Hasn't got any better imo. Only paid $15. That's all it's worth.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't be that kind of Nerd

Pros: New content is always good. When the game changes and all the last expansions gear and goodies are obsolete people cry because they aren't l33t anymore. This expansion is just as good as the others. Some people just like to cry.

Cons: If you think that putting Pandas as a race is a sell out for the asian market then you might consider this a con.

Other Thoughts: If there was no new content that would be a reason to rate the game low. This expansion is nothing bad and is more of the same if you like WoW. Don't listen to the geeks crying about their lost staff of uberness that is now trash because there is new stuff available.

5 out of 5 eggsI wish all the expansions were this good!

Pros: This expansion has added so many things to WoW. The scenarios are great fun and add some of the Warhammer elements to the game. The instant dungeon and raid finder is great and really helps you get the gear you need for this much more challenging expansion. If you are not geared up the first area will kick you in the teeth but after you get new gear from the quests you will survive a little better.

I love the graphics, the animation of the Monk is stellar and the class is a blast to play. My wife never played WoW but she couldn't resist the new area so I sent her an invite and she started at level 80. We are both at 86 now going through the expansion and enjoying all it has to offer. A lot to do in this game and playing the game with at least one other all the time makes it double the fun. The quests are the best compared to any other MMO.

Cons: I would like more scenarios for every level.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome as always.

Pros: An amazing expansion if you enjoy WoW. They dungeons are short and sweet, the raiding is it's best yet, and PvP is fabulous. Coming from someone who has been playing WoW since Vanilla I can say this is the best to date if you look at what it brings to the table. There is always something to do. This expansion has so many things to offer to every kind of player. I am tired of people giving this bad reviews simply because they are bored of the game.

Cons: I am not an enormous fan of the lore but I also didn't try to get in to it like I did with the other expansions. I heard it was pretty good and may try to get in to it on an alt.

This isn't really a con but if you are on a PvP server this expansion does definitely provoke more world PvP. I personally enjoy it but others may not.

Other Thoughts: People have to remember it is still WoW. Do not expect any ENORMOUS changes when you buy this because it isn't a new game. Everything it had before is now much better but it still the same experience. If you want an entirely new change I would suggest a new MMO.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat game!

Pros: After the disappointment that was Cataclysm, I was wary to get back into WoW. My friends who have been playing for a while still enjoyed playing Pandaria months later after its release.

I was originally one of those skeptics that thought the whole Pandaria race/land was lame and kind of a stretch. After playing it for a while, I have to admit I enjoy playing it. I know people complain how LFRs are dumbed down, etc but it's great for people who play casually like me. I do love the new land and there are plenty of things to do. The music is fantastic and the raids are pretty fun.

Cons: It doesn't feel as grand as WotLK but it is still a wonderful game to play.

4 out of 5 eggsSmart expansion

Pros: Great expansion. Best since WotLk
Scenery is absolutely increadible and almost breath taking on a HD monitor with a nice graphics card
Story line is really neat and going from 85 to 90 is pretty darn sharp.
New BOA heirlooms help get new toons where you want them much quicker since the climb is to 90 now
making a ton of gold is easier than ever

Cons: Craftable items are limited for end game gear
Certain mats needed for crafting are hard to get
Makes going it alone, not having to play with others, hard
Game comes to somewhat of a halt once you hit 90
PvP is now ever further away for the casual player
Reliance on dailies to get anywhere or anything is increased
Individual PvE has taken a significant back seat to PvP
Quickly becomming a PvP dominated game
Very long wait/cue times for LFR
Pandas are stupid, period
Pet battles are stupid, period
Archaeology is stupid

Other Thoughts: If you've been with the game for any length of time, you realize that you have to have this as it represents another challenge. For $30 and continued monthly subscription fee it isn't going to break the bank. Much improved over the previous expansion/abrtion its the best since WotLK. You'll get to 90 and want to roll a new toon or polish off others who haven't made it to 90. They kinda made it a little more kid targeted with the whole panda thing as well as poke mon encouraged pet battles, both of which i refuse to do. Glad it doesn't punish you for not participating.

4 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: - New expansion exploration
-New class
-New Race
-Awesome new environment

Cons: Same WoW
LFR
End Game consists of endless dailys and pugging heroics

Other Thoughts: Was fun when i first tried it out, hitting 90 from 85 was a fun journey on a few characters but the same formula hits when you're capped.
Daily questing...daily questing....daily questing....random world bosses, more heroic grinding and LFR.
Been playing since WoW was in beta, might've just ran it's course.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Start

Pros: Half price for pre-order and wait ONE day from Newegg. What's not to love about that?! Dungeons are somewhat shorter than in the past, therefore faster to run. The best questing start of any WoW expansion - fun gaming

Cons: Game comes to a grinding halt, literally after capping 90 and/or questing out. Dailies, dailies, dailies, dailies, until one is sick of doing nothing but daily quests.

Other Thoughts: If you are a die hard MMO player, give it a try, if not, skip it. I am not sure what else to say that matters. Blizzard created the funnest start since vanilla WoW, but there is no continuity in that scenario. It dissapoints in the long run.
