Pros: Sadly, I never got to play this game back in it's day. I've recently been on a quest to get a bunch of the older PC games that were great for their time that I didn't get to play. Diablo II is every bit as great as it's hyped up to be. Like the players who had the game when it first came out, I simply can't stop playing it.

Cons: If you have Windows 7, you have to go in properties and change a few things to get it to run. Not really a con in my book, but I just felt like it was worth mentioning to people who were considering buying it.

Other Thoughts: I got the free 4-7 day shipping, and it was here in two. Gotta love Newegg.

Pros: One of the best games ever. Hack and slashers get satisfied and dungeon looters too. Best part is that all maps, treasure, monster drops and even shop inventory are random.

Cons: Time flies when your killing demons.

Other Thoughts: Had to alter how it ran for my WIN 7 64bit.

Pros: Great game & you get a lot for the price.
The guide is extensive.

Now about Diablo II.
I don't know if the guide included came with earlier versions of Battle Chest. If not, I'd pick up on this one just for the guide.

Pros: the game play is fantastic, character voices are very fitting and realistic, lots of different areas to explore and changes in scenery make the game more enjoyable, a nice variety of monters to kill also helps to keep you going. id say the best thing about this game is that the areas, monster placement, and droped items and loot are random!! them being random makes this game replayable and a adventure each time around.
tons of items, armor, and skills make this game very involved and fun.

Cons: game is getting old and runs at a low resolution.

Pros: This game has everything to keep you interested. Alot of gameplay and replayability. Pretty much no loading. Unlike the first one, the classes are different.

Cons: The seemingly 3d graphics are really just 2d designed to look 3d. That being said, its a dated game and at the time, it was awesome!

Other Thoughts: When i got this game, i played it offline for about a year and a half. Then we got internet and it felt like a whole new game. I don't know about all this hacking/duping/broken economy stuff but the basics of the game really are awesome. The battle chest can be found elsewhere for less but this is a great game to put on a netbook. You can even add the key to battle.net and use the client to download a version that should be CD free! If not use daemon tools/alch 120/ virtual cd.

Pros: Hours of gameplay, much funner if you're playing with some close friends on a LAN.

Cons: Online community is a joke.

Other Thoughts: Bought Diablo II to play on my netbook while deployed. I knew having low system resources that I would have to buy some classics if I wanted anything to play.

Pros: Package came undamaged, had the Diablo II game disc, the expansion and the official guidebook. Still as great of a game now as it was 10 years ago. If you played it before and took a multi year sabbatical from it, get it again.

Cons: Low graphics Thats really about it but graphics don't account for anywhere near even half of what makes a game fun

Pros: Diablo 2 is the best gameI ever played hands down, it is pure and simply classic.

Cons: contrary to the tech specs on this site, and the pictures, the original Diablo is not included with this BattleChest, after speaking with newegg, and Blizzard, it looks like I am stuck without a paddle on that. Do not order if you are looking for the original, you will not get it.

Pros: 10 yrs old and prob still played as much as it was in 99, good story good characters but what keep people coming back for more is the multiplayer, specifically the player vs player part. so many different stratedgies and tactics can be used just play it and see for yourself
