The eternal battle between Humans and Orcs just got more complicated in the sequel to the critically acclaimed Warcraft 2. In the real-time-strategy game Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos for PC, a new enemy called the Undead Scourge invades the already battle-weary world of Azeroth, threatening the existence of Humans, Orcs, and their distrusting neighbors, the Night Elves. Can these three long-term enemies put their differences aside to defeat the evil Undead Scourge? Or will they destroy each other first?

Players play as all four races- The Human Alliance, The Orcish Horde, The Night Elves, and the Undead Scourge. Each race's story is told in the form of a campaign, composed of about 10 levels. Players who finish each campaign move to the next race until all four campaigns are completed. Players who desire a challenge may try multiplayer mode, provided by Blizzard's free Battle.net service.

The Warcraft 3 Battle Chest is a real treasure, containing Reign of Chaos, The Frozen Throne expansion pack, and the official Brady Guides for both games. It's a must-have for Warcraft and RTS fans alike.

5 out of 5 eggsA Game that made a Generation

Pros: This game has made massive titles such as League of Legends & DOTA 2 through our very own map makers.

Heck LoL 's creator was a DOTA editor, and Icefrog DOTA 2's lead just happend to be the last DOTA editor.

This game has me coming back week after week. but the only reason why i don't log on as much anymore is due to just having played the game for around 1,400 hours. and it has been around the same as WoW on an addictive level.

Cons: - Hosting (Was a problem but solved by Bots)
- Small community on European servers now (USEast has become a mega server and with bots you won't have a problem connecting and staying connected to game)

So yeah no real cons, except being Graphically outdated, but compared to Sc2 this still plays less clunky and has alot more custom art tools/models.

Other Thoughts: Starcraft 2's community settles for Garbage and call it great, Warcraft 3 holds 20x more quality maps and a larger Arcade Community. Do not buy Starcraft 2 if you want to play multiplayer.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst PC game I played

Pros: - Good Storyline
- Very Addictive
- People still play online

Cons: - Screen problem (look at other thoughts)
- Multiplayer is invaded with DotA

Other Thoughts: This was one of the first games I ever played on PC. Even if you do not enjoy RTS, there are alot of mini-games that still go on the B.Net (even though most of them are now DotA matches)

Since this game is old, you will need to go in the config and adjust the screen size, but it is kinda expected for things like that since this game was around the CRT screens.

This game is absolutely amazing (and I'm not just saying that out of nostalgia). It has a great storyline for the people that are into WoW Lore and it still has the basic fundamentals of an RTS for a player to pick up and get good easily, and even if you do not enjoy RTS games, this game has HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of Minigames (like Run Kitty Run and Battleships) to even enjoy without having to play the basic RTS game. Overall, if you have not played this game yes, you should take a blast to the past and experience this game after 11 years of glory

5 out of 5 eggsWarcraft 3 is worth it!

Pros: If you follow World of Warcraft, read the books and/or comic books, or love this style of gaming and the nostalgia, this is the game for you.

It brings Arthas' story to life, his journey to becoming disputably, the baddest bad guy in the Warcraft universe, Thrall's journey and the development into the new Horde, the blood elve's involvement with the Horde and how Sylvanas became the Banshee Queen, and Jaina's involvement and the development of today's Alliance.

This game is rich in storylines and has multiple difficulties as well as different modes of playing; you can even customize your own custom map and play as Horde or Alliance, or both.

To this day, I own all three series of this game franchise and they are great fun to play on maintenance day or when my internet is out.

Cons: It's not much of a complaint for me because I really don't mind it, but because this is an older game, the graphics are somewhat outdated compared to, for example, the World of Warcraft MMO itself.

Would love to see a remake of this game in the future, but I doubt that will ever happen considering how long it took Blizzard to make Warcraft I-III and what it took to make these games.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for another game similar to a game you've previously played before from another franchise, yes, this game is very much like the rest, but the lore, stories, and characters are unique to this franchise. If you have no interest in World of Warcraft lore or characters, this probably isn't the game for you because you'll just end up downing it for being like "every other game", like many others have who have reviewed this game.

If you're not into older graphics and just here for the gameplay, again, this game is probably not for you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Fun game, fast delivery, good condition.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I didn't have a disk drive, and battle.net's installers weren't working, so I had to download the installers elsewhere. That didn't work either, so I ended up chugging through battle.net's incredibly laggy installer, but it ended up working.

5 out of 5 eggsone of the very best games

Pros: i played this game sence 2006 and still play it amazing how this game lives on the multi-player is just so fun, i even have had WOW for same lenght of time , but played this way more.
O btw this game performans well on a wide range of computers, 7600 le sli ,8800gts 640 , 5850,
or amd 5200+ / PII 965BE . all settups played pretty well.
I did realize though when ussing 4 gattling guns in battle ships it would lag down to 34FPS with my 8800GTS, i quickly resolved the issue by reformatting my harddrive and going from xp32 bit to 64bit and changed nothing else , something about not being able to access ram fast enough , after that i stayed at 60+ FPS with quad gats in battle ships, so just some advice for yall.

Cons: can't really con this game for not being dual cpu optized knowing when it came out can we .

Other Thoughts: played tons of games , dota was alright , me and my brother in law use to play WMW reborn multiplayer , we never found anyone who could beat us though, probely because we were both very good and use two completely different tactics; winning never gets old :P ,
we also dominated battle ships and other games , o and slidding bunnies is still a funny **s game, writing this review makes me wana play a maze on wc3 , or play SWAT .

5 out of 5 eggsAllows a Pro like me to play DotA

Pros: Since I am the best DotA player on us.east, I will say my experiences with this game is phenomenal. The game is unmatched in several ways and the custom maps have brought it to new heights.

Cons: There are too many scrubs unwilling to get better at DotA yet trash talk and fail every game. Be like me and dominate them then teach them with kindness and love.

Other Thoughts: A great game.
