Pros: better graphics, not million of the same weapon in inventory as in me1
Cons: new mechanics are not good at all. using the same button to open doors, crouch, jump over walls, etc is not cool at all. story is not bad, but if you have played me1 (most of us have) if you don't let how much you liked the 1st one cloud your vision...you will quickly see that the story is not very good at all. horrible actually. so many things wrong...i don't even know where to start.
Other Thoughts: My first review, my vision was clouded by excitement. What really upsets me is that one of the most trusted sources for reviews (IGN) made it look amazing....they knew it wasn't good! lol...but...hey...it's something to do right? Truth be told, there were not even that many things that needed to be changed from me1 as far as mechanics. Now it's just frustrating and annoying.

Pros: Mass effect 2 is one of the best games i have ever played. The amount of content in this game crushes other games like bioshock 2. The graphics are amazing and the animations are stunning. Squad tactical gameplay, upgrades galore, multiple career types, tons of planets and you get your own ship! The cerberus network is awesome and has lots of DLC's for free (the code is included in the box copy).
Cons: My only gripe about this game is that pc users need to buy certain DLC's. We support the company by purchasing it instead of downloading it by other means so the least they could do is give us all the DLC's for free.

Pros: Nicely tweaked graphics engine, great story, great presentation, excellent voice over work, as engaging as the first
Cons: I miss the mechanics of mass effect 1. There is now reloading. Also miss the old weapon overheating method, and as far as the keys, I REALLY miss the crouch button. Not used to using Enter (space for default) as the cover and use button.
Other Thoughts: New story is great, graphics are amazing, but mechanics blow.
