Pros: The only good thing I like about this game are the tracks. Better designed than any game in the franchise. The off-road and snow elements are great, and the extra surroundings (i.e., corn fields - I think - in Vegas) you can drive through makes the race seem more realistic.

Cons: The in-game driving is horrible. One of the worst I've have played. Response from my Logitech F310 gamepad is slow, which makes maneuvering and avoiding collisions extremely hard.

Also, the online multi-player is not that great. Higher level players with the best cars can race against lower level players with the slower cars. You're at a real disadvantage and might find yourself not finishing a lot of races.

Oh, and the reset feature, is annoying too. I can't stand all that resetting during a race. What was EA and Origin thinking? It needs to be disabled.

Other Thoughts: For the most part, it's not a bad game, if your can get the handling right. This problem needs to fixed as well. I can barely steer the car. I've owned most of the games in this franchise, and the handling is no where near the 1st Most Wanted and Carbon. I think I'll try the new Most wanted and hope that this one is much better.

Pros: Just plain fun! Addicting! Fun MP action. I bought the regular version from Newegg and they shipped me the Limited Edition version!!! It was just 5.99 including shipping.

Pros: This game is well made. EA's strategy of going back and forth between Black Box and Criterion Games is working very well for quality standards of the NFS titles.

This particular edition comes with all of the DLC/extra goodies so you get the full experience without the extra effort.

Has challenge modes for quick play so you're not limited to just playing online or campaign mode.

Runs great on my low-rent system.

Cons: I would not have purchased this game if it wasn't $6
Its good and I don't regret buying it, but the player experience is a bit numb and disconnected in places. Its not the type of game you want to spend all night playing.

If you do decide to power through it you'll be disappointed with how short it is. There were obviously many chances to include deeper story arcs for more varied gameplay, but it is clear the game was cut for time.

Requires the installation of Origin to play.

Other Thoughts: For $6 this is a great value.

The bad reviews of controller issues is due to Windows substituting game pad driver for wheel or joystick.

Cons: None if you have the proper Driver For Windows 7 & 8.
Maybe same in Cista. Defaults all Windows 7 Steering Wheels to be a pain in the brain GAME PAD CONTROLLER.\I was upset at first seeing all the reviews complaining about Contoller not right or showing as game pad. That's Windows 7 & 8 doing it, Not this game.

Other Thoughts: Tried with Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Wheel. No good. Because Microsoft QUIT SUPPORTING ONE NICE STEERING WHEEL.

Pros: Looks like it would be fun if I could drive the @#&*# car with by Logitech 3D Pro joystick.

Cons: If you are an old joystick operator like myself (fifties) and if you do not want to learn the ways of the gaming pads, then stay away from this. I love NFS Most Wanted, Carbon was ok, and a number of older NFS and other racing titles, but have not purchased anything new since GRID which is my favorite. I stayed away from some of the later NFS titles but thought I would give The Run a try as it was on sale at Best Buy for under $20. One word, Origin, is all I have to say. Boy has EA gone down hill. The controller needs to be a game pad to play the game. I could not get my driver out of the compactor no matter what I did with programming the buttons on my Logitech 3D Pro joystick that I have gotten good at over the years. You have been warned.

-Fun driving game

Cons: -Another EA title designed for consoles with PC as an afterthought
-'X', 'Y' and 'Start' buttons on a PC? REALLY?
-Could have been longer

Other Thoughts: Tired of PC gamers continuing to get the shaft. I'd almost prefer if they just stop supporting PC platform for select games altogether (ie Madden). At least it would save me $$ and aggrevation.

Pros: Looks great on the Frostbite 2 engine although I could argue the style of the Shift series looks better.

Cons: If you're a fan of the NFS series, don't buy this. It feels like a cheap arcade game. Remember the RUSH series for N64?...
It is NOT like Most Wanted (PS2) or Hot Pursuit (NFSIII, PS1).
They had a fantastic physics engine in Shift 1/2 and completely threw it out the window. Why???? The game handles worse than any other NFS I've ever played.

Other Thoughts: I'd sell it right now for $10 if it wasn't linked to my Origin account.

I am a huge fan of the series but I realize they are known to release total flops. I'm saddened to see that this is one of those flops.

Pros: This is game has great graphic good sound and control...beautiful scenes make you make you want to slow down and take a better look...non stop actions that will glue you to your chair...

Cons: The game is way to short, I finished the game in less than 5 hours (racing time 2 hour 10 min with 105 return to check point so you know I am not a great driver)

Other Thoughts: Of course there is other little things that I do not care...but still this is a game that made too short
