3 out of 5 eggsi love star wars and this game is ME in the star wars universe. please join us.

Pros: please join us in the star wars you know and love.

it's great, the other users are more helpful to newbies than in most other MMO's that i have played.

the game is up and running and new additions and changes are coming soon, so if you get in now and write recommendations to the developers you might/maybe/perhaps have some actual influence on how this game progresses.

at $15 a month it is frugal entertainment, meaning you are going to get allot for a small amount of money spent.

the game starts out pretty simple and brings you into the deeper more involved aspects at your own pace, and there are allot of friendly people [yes other players just like you] willing to help you because they know that the more happy people there are in the game, the more fun it is.

Cons: they seem to have a printed list of questions to ask no matter what problem you are contacting them about.
what version of windows are you using?
what browser are you using?
have you flushed the cache on your browser?
have you restarted your computer?

these may be questions that fit most problems that people are in live chat for.

however i was asking them if there was a way to have my automatic billing turned off and changed to pay as i go.

the billing/subscription system seems to have allot of problems and i wonder if it could be THE primary reason that there are so many people either not completing the subscription process in the first place, or cancelling after they have gone through the inordinately demanding and demeaning requirements of automatic charges to our financial institutions.

my deep affection of the universe created by MR. Lucas is just barely, and i mean by just a small margin, enough to allow me to put up with the improper requirements of the billing s

Other Thoughts: i feel very sad that this game may disappear because of bad billing for a good game.

the promise made is that if you buy the box in the store you can go home and play for the first month and decide if you want to continue to pay $15/month.
this sounds quite reasonable.

however you are required to agree to be billed automatically before your already paid for purchase of game time is considered valid.

this is fraudulent advertising and is called "bait and switch".
they depend on the fact that anyone with the wealth needed to pursue legal action against them, and win, will not take the time to do so.
what they are doing is wrong and illegal.

and with all that said, i still pay them, and i still play the game, yes it IS that good.
which makes it all the more sad to see that these actions are killing a great game.

so my choice is to enjoy it while i can because it will be gone soon.

they are changing to a free to play format, i think they will mess that up, too.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible "current gen" MMO

Pros: Its in the SW universe

Cons: Buyer beware!!!

This game is hemorrhaging customers and fans, and there is a reason:

1) Atrocious customer service
2) Minimal endgame - its a joke
3) Theme-park style game play
4) Heavy handed forum moderation to hide the truth
5) Game engine is a 3rd party pile of junk. The fact it still running DX9 when DX11 is already out pretty much explains everything. Game engine is unable to handle more than 50ish people in a shard/instance etc and thus must be split up (even in fleet)
6) Economy is non-existent
7) Arcade on rails "space-battles" is a sick joke
9) Dev's are clueless and disconnected
10) PVP is a joke
11) Crafting is nonexistent
12) Classes are completely imbalanced

There are so many ways to compare this to the big elephant that is WOW, but this game just falls flat on its face. And don't even bother dealing with customer service, or point out problems, because you WILL BE MODERATED. Its a massive BW/EA coverup really, to hide how bad the state of this game

Other Thoughts: This is NOT the same company that bought you Baldur's Gate. Ever since EA bought them, their games have been trash! See ME3, DA2, etc.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple way to get 2 months

Pros: No worries for two months of play time

Cons: Hassle to enter the code

Other Thoughts: This is a simple item: You buy $30 worth of game time, equatable to 2 months. If you get the physical version you have to pay for shipping so it might be better to just buy it from a store downtown.
