5 out of 5 eggsBought this game for a friend...

Pros: Graphics

Cons: None that I know of.

Other Thoughts: I bought this game for a friend. He seems to really like it. Played it a little myself and it seems pretty good.

4 out of 5 eggsbf4

Pros: good looking graphics
good price. picked up for 20 bucks
I'm about halfway through the campaign and it's been a pretty fun game
I mostly play on high setting and get a solid 60fps and higher (up to 150fps and higher) at all times, I can run on ultra but the fps will drop down into the high 40's / low 50s at some points.

Cons: I could not install off the cds with my windows 10, but once origins had it in my games I could download it . took forever though
you have to have an online connection to even access the game to play the campain. everything for playing, menus, options, etc. is opened in your web browser, i dont like this . when launching the campaign online it takes a bit of time before the game starts.
had a bit of bug issues under water early in the campain . i could not swim forward ,only backwards. taking cover is weak imo , you basically crouch behind something. would have been nice to have a set control to lock you in and out of cover.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Graphics are amazing.
Weapons , characters , and vehicles are awesome.
Most levels , including expansion pack levels , are pretty cool.
More than enough to keep you interested for 4+ hrs. of straight play.
A LOT of fast paced action.

Cons: System requirements are heavy in order to play this game good.
Some on-screen items like base letters and things of that nature , are too big , get in the way of sight , and cause you to get killed sometimes.
Some experienced players picked up on this and use it to their advantage.

Other Thoughts: I was rocking 2 6870's on this just to get it to play on high smoothly.
A single 6870 just wouldn't cut it when this 1st came out.
You need a card with at least 2GB of RAM and a 256-bit side bus for a "good" playing experience , plus a Quad core CPU and 8GB of RAM in your system.

I'm currently at a quad core CPU , a GTX 970 , and 8GB of DDR3 1600.
Able to hit Ultra , with no AA or any of that junk turned on.
Looks and plays great now.

3 out of 5 eggsBad servers and bad maps create a painful experience

Pros: Managed to get the entire premium pack on sale for 19.99 on origin so keep an eye for deals.
Lots of weapons to unlock.
Some of the underground maps are really interesting with interactive environments.
Graphics look great and runs very stable on my pc build.

Cons: Lopsided servers due to clan proliferation online. Prepare to get demolished by the other team during peak hours of the night. This game really needs randomized team servers but they don't exist. It's main problem that makes this game quickly turn into frustration.

Lots of overpowered weapons (threat detectors on guns, sniping is way to easy, vehicles are overpowered).

Random server lag no matter what server you are on and no matter how many players are there.

Toxic player environment but it is easily ignored by muting the chat.

Some of the maps are really terrible. All of the naval maps via expansion in particular are very bad. Operation metro is there but they hardly added any structural differences to it. The gem maps are hardly encountered on servers which replay the same map rotation over and over.

I've encountered occasional hackers where they have made themselves invisible, aim-botted, and teleported to ruin the online gaming experience.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am fairly let down by Battlefield 4 and I was practically addicted to Battlefield 3. The 64 player experiences have been what I consider way too many people for the maps and outside of a few really good maps there are way too many bad ones. Rush in particular struggles with the maps favoring the defending side. Offense has to assault elevated objectives and get through 2 to 3 doors underground which results in way too many bottlenecks. There needs to be better built maps so dice let me down here.
For the most part servers are the worst problem. There needs to be random team servers to prevent lopsided engagements. The lack of official dice servers is also a let down. Prepare to get booted from a server maliciously at some point during your playing.

1 out of 5 eggsBuggy Garbage

Pros: None

Cons: One of the buggiest, lag-ridden games ever made. The netcode is so good that people can shoot you 2-3 seconds after you go around a corner. Oh wait, they fixed that so now every 3 seconds the game will stutter like your ping is 500ms. Just terrible. BF3 was great, this one is junk.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely the worst excuse for a game EA has ever produced. They should be embarrassed. The only saving grace was watching EA's stock price sink during the first month this game was released (which led to a stockholder lawsuit).

5 out of 5 eggsBF4 is Awesome!!!!

Pros: Downloaded the game and installed with no problem. Runs fine on Windows 8.1. Maps looks very detailed. Gameplay is great. Weapons and vehicles are varied and awesome. Even the attack boats are cool.

My computer is Intel i7, SSD, 8GB RAM, Nvdia GTX 570. It runs smooth and doesn't crash.

Cons: Maps take a minute to load, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Fun to Play with Intense Action..Lots of servers available. Can't wait to get the expanded Premium maps.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat game

Pros: Good storyline, lifelike graffics, perfect sound and great gameplay very relestic. AI is better than in past games. Loved playing, best game so far.

Cons: Takes a little long to load at start ony complant I have.

Other Thoughts: Do not even try to run on windows 8.1 unless you enjoy crashes and lockup's. I played all the way through on Win 7 without one problem but can't get 30 minuits on 8.1 without problems. Both of my machines are idenical except for operating system. I took it off my 8.1 machine for that reason, as I got tired of trying to make it work.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game

Pros: Play with friends, Game looks really nice on even medium settings. People complain about this game when they just bought the game in the last month or so, but if you had the game from when it came out, you would understand that the problems you see now in the game are far worst then when the game was released.

Cons: Uses a lot of resources. Make sure you have at least 8GB of ram.
