3 out of 5 eggsNot Impressed

Pros: Improved graphics over the previous versions of this game. Also the fact that you can upgrade your weapons and kind of lets you play it the way you like where in previous versions you couldn't choose a weapon for your missions they were given to you. Also like the idea that health refills itself after a little while and you don't have to look for First Aid Kits, but on the other hand doesn't give you the feeling of danger where you have 25% Health left and you've got 4-5 enemies to kill and you get adrenaline while doing that and trying not to die, here you can just hide somewhere and wait for it to be full again.

Cons: This shouldn't be called Wolfenstein. It has nothing to do with Good Old Wolfenstein versions. It just feels boring and doesn't give you the atmosphere of older versions. The gameplay is somewhat limited to one scenario where you just have to kill everybody. No sneaking on somebody missions where you have to pass through undetected. Or missions where you have to watch out for alarms and have to think before you do something. Here is just dumb shooter you don't have to think.

Other Thoughts: Not a smart game. Just another dumb shooter. They messed up Wolfenstein big time. This game doesn't deserve to be called Wolfenstein. Also your character is some kind of superhero. Where in older versions you were just a soldier trying to kill some super soldiers and whatever that was way stronger than you and you got that feeling of accomplishment. Here you kill enemies weaker than you. It's just BORING.

4 out of 5 eggsWolfenstein!!!!!!!!

Pros: Great story line and graphics is kicks a major one! Immersive game play and the cinematics are top!

Cons: Multi-player sucks 'cause there's not that many servers for it. It's unfair to compare the MP to that of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (which has far larger mod maps available), but we could get a lot more out of it.

Other Thoughts: MP has to be improved.

5 out of 5 eggsBack to old school game

Pros: So far so good, I'm really enjoying this gem of a game. I have not tried MP as of yet. Single player rocks! Been having a ton of fun with Wolfenstein. For me the graphics are perfect. Game play is smooth as silk, the story line keeps you going and the cut scenes are fantastic! This is how games used to be, fun. Love being able to go into the veil mode. I also downloaded a patch for the game, I believe it was 1.2 and that was easy enough. I've been playing the game with my Bose headphones and man does it sound good. The way the Nazis die is just wonderful, and I want my Nazis scalps! Love hunting for gold and other stuff, I like the black market too where you can upgrade weapons. The music just rocks when your playing, you can turn it off if you wish. The game is a bit older now and I bought it for a fairly cheap price. Well worth it.

Cons: For me none, I have other games I can play on line with so if I can sit back and enjoy the STORY of this game I will. I'll try on line game play when I'm done with the campaign and I'll see how it goes.

I'm not too into the doors in the game closing shut, sometimes it's just a pain but not that much of a con.

Other Thoughts: I have a very bad head cold, and I'm on stacation. This game brings me back to the time of DooM and RTCW. Perfect for my rainy head cold stacation. I did download the demo on my Xbox 360, yeah it was fun but it is a FPS game. IMO FPS and PC just go hand in hand, thats why I bought the PC version and not the Xbox 360 version. Not that the Xbox was not fun, just for me the PC version I can just use the mouse to aim allot better. It's sad that allot of other gamers are giving this game a low score due to on line play. I was playing Farcry 2 and just got so bored with it, this game is way more exciting running around the German town creating havoc. My setup is about 2 years old now.
Quad core 2.66GHz (Q9400)
EVGA GTX 260 ( 896M )
8 Gig RAM
23" LCD Monitor ( Gateway )
Bose headphones ( the real light weight ones ) love em!

1 out of 5 eggsNot worthy of the name

Pros: Looks good.
Great title. lol!

Cons: Online play is about the worst ever.
the game is short. about 5 to 7 hours of total play. old wolfinstiens took forever.
end boss is about as easy as they come.
pretty much a wast of time.

Other Thoughts: ran the whole game without dying even once in normal mode.
Im glad that it had the raven software tag and did not taint ID softwares good name.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money!

Pros: None! There is nothing redeeming about this title.

Cons: Everything that could go wrong with a PC game did go wrong with this one. Laggy netcode, poor MP performance, terrible "Central Hub" single player style of gameplay.

Other Thoughts: If you're considering buying this game, try the demo and read the forums first

Don't make the same mistake I did and run out and buy it.

1 out of 5 eggsExpletive deleted!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: The excitement at the announcement that it was coming out.
Graphics ok nothing special.
You haven't spent your money yet.

Cons: SP- Don't buy it if you like a good story line, unique adversary's, story continuity, a well built game. I could go on but in the interest of time...
MP-is unplayable, broken, no servers, enough said.
Total loss.

Other Thoughts: If you are buying it because you liked RTCW then don't buy it, your standards will be to high. It is not even in the same ball park. Most disappointing experience of my gaming life.

1 out of 5 eggsDON'T BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Okay, so the only pro for this game is it's single player campaign; I truly enjoyed it, but I wish it were just a bit longer. I would give the SP at least a 4 eggs out of 5.

Cons: The multiplayer part.

The community is dead.

When you look at the server list you'll only find one server with people actually in it if you're lucky; and guess what? It'll probably be a server in Europe. So if you live here in the U.S.A. like I do, you will be pinging terribly.

-3 eggs out of 5.

Other Thoughts: To me, what makes a FPS game worth having is it's multiplayer because that's the part of the game that keeps the community together and alive. With this game there is no community because the MP is so bugged that nobody kept on playing it and the people responsible for fixing the bugs didn't ever care to.

With that being said, I have to say this game is most certainly not one to pay $50 for - you're better off using some other persons to play the single player.

I am very upset about this because Wolfenstein has had a great series of games, and this just turned out to be a huge flop.

By the way if you don't believe me, just check out the official Wolfenstein website and go to their forum section, that will tell all.

4 out of 5 eggsGood game with some short commings.

Pros: Despite what some say I think the storyline remains true to the Wolf saga. The game is using the Doom 3 engine if I am not mistaken so while the graphics are not killer on this aging engine I think they did a pretty good job depicting a german town at the hight of the war. You dont need a suped up rig to run this which is nice. The free roaming feature is nice. As a long time fan of Wolf I find the single player portion was good.

Cons: The multiplayer is not very refined in this game so if thats an important consideration stay away. Secondly I think the price was a little high. The max price should have been $39.99 and no more. Game could have been longer for its $50 price tag.

Other Thoughts: Trip down memory lane for the die hards of the saga.
