Record-setting game franchise, Call of Duty, pushes the boundaries once again with the mind-blowing Black Ops II. In Call of Duty: Black Ops II, players are propelled into a not-so-distant future dystopia - the 21st Century Cold War - where technology and weapons have converged to create a whole new era of warfare.
A time-spanning, generation-spanning narrative, Call of Duty: Black Ops II introduces players to an insidious villain named Raul Menendez, who hijacks the US military infrastructure to further his own agenda. Harness the power of near-future technology and advanced robotics to pull the world back from the brink of annihilation.
Rooted in near-future fiction, Call of Duty: Black Ops II multiplayer will introduce players to some of the most cutting-edge weaponry and equipment that 2025 will have to offer. Black Ops II multiplayer introduces a re-imagined Create-a-Class, introducing players to a new "pick-10" allocation system that allows for a combination of any 10 items, making almost anything possible. The new Score Streak system rewards players that play to the objective and help their team win. League Play, CODcasting, and Live Streaming combine to make Call of Duty fun to watch, by providing players with the tools to commentate games and broadcast those games to the world.
The Biggest Zombies Experience to Date: Call of Duty: Black Ops II Zombies features three different ways to survive the zombie apocalypse. Unravel the mysteries of a dying Earth in Tranzit, fight endless waves of zombies in Survival mode, or compete in the new 4z4 last-human-standing mode, Grief. Also, enjoy bite-sized chunks of gameplay with Zombies' new Custom Game Mode.
Multiplayer Technology with Zombies
Call of Duty: Black Ops II features new and extensive Stats-tracking, as well as improved Leaderboards for bragging rights. The new skill-based matchmaking system will allow players of the same skill levels to team-up in the fight against Zombies in public game modes.

5 out of 5 eggsA Super Game!

Pros: Zombies, key is for Steam, good graphics.

Cons: Now somewhat old since Black Ops 3 is out

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this game as even if it is old, it's still is fun to play. Especially the zombies is really fun still and even though I moved on to Block Ops 3, I will keep coming back to play zombies.

4 out of 5 eggsfast and good game play. ..

Pros: game play and servers are pretty steady so far in my limited time.

Cons: Is this game getting hack cheaters? ?I had some guy with a knife taking every one out while getting shot with 1000 rounds.

3 out of 5 eggsJust another boringCOD.

Pros: Good gameplay.
Same but good graphic.

Cons: Nothing compare to the first Black Ops.
The voice acting was just terrible on most main parts.

Other Thoughts: Storyline was so so...even for all the possible outcomes...
Just another boring COD.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat game

Pros: Graphics are nice, game play is like every other CoD :-p

Score streaks are great, and the party games are really fun. (I only play multi-player)

Got this on sale for $25!

Cons: Occasionally get a floating flower pot in the middle of a map, and I had some issues with the graphics where water and lights would look silly, but I think that was a hardware thing, not the game..

Other Thoughts: This is my first time actually owning a CoD game, I usually just played on friends Xbox... PC is waaaaay better ;-)

The new "Ghosts" looks pretty cool, I might pick that up.

3 out of 5 eggsMy least favorite of the COD series.

Pros: Excellent graphics and sound.

Cons: Steam is always a pain IMHO since I play the COD series primarily as a single player. While logging into Steam is a great way to get game updates, it is also a big opportunity for them to show ads when logging out.

Too many cut scenes throughout the game. That in my opinion takes away from the action, but hey everyone needs a bathroom break once in a while.

Unlike the previous COD games I had a tough time getting wrapped up in this one. With the previous games in the series I couldn't wait to get back and play. With this game, yawn... I played if I had nothing else to do.

Other Thoughts: If it wasn't for Newegg's promotional pricing and free shipping at time of sale I would have never made the purchase. The original list price was a little too steep for my use as a single player shooter.

Thanks Newegg !!

4 out of 5 eggsNice addition to the Zombies Map, multiplayer still enjoyable.

Pros: This game has Xbox 360 Controller Support!!!! That is what killed me when I found out Modern Warfare 3 did not have controller support. Zombies mode has a unique new twist that makes it fun and enjoyable. Multiplayer is the same as the rest. Still fun, smaller sized maps to destroy the enemy. Haven't even had time to set into the main game yet. Having to much fun online.

Cons: Multiplayer has yet to change much. I enjoy the new different perks, but in all reality, I would love to see larger sized maps make it way into this game. I am talking Battlefield 3 sized maps that allow for large quantities of people to have full on raids and battles.

3 out of 5 eggsFree on steam for the weekend, Not worth the 60$

Pros: I am not really a CoD fan overall, but after about an hour of playing it became easy to rank up and stick with higher level players. New maps are a plus since previous games just recycled old maps which takes about five seconds to do and is lazy

Cons: Totally not worth 60$. If activision wants that money they better come up with a new engine and graphics to match. True CoD's graphics lends a hand to people with tiny graphics cards, but that can be fixed from higher level graphics with a little optimizing. Lag can be atrocious and controls are iffy. Mouse sensitivity is a small issue to some people but jeez im playing on the lowest setting and it's too much. TDM is played by 80% of all players online, hackers somehow manage to get into the game less than a few months from its release

Other Thoughts: My favorite gamemode from this game is One in the Chamber, which to me was surprising since it was a hardcore style gamemode. Activision should keep making forward bounds like the creation of One in the Chamber and not stick around with stale elements from previous titles
