Cons: You have to use some workarounds in order to update punkbuster since they dropped official support for it, there is a video how to if you search for it that was posted recently on how to do this manually, or there is also a modified version of punkbuster for legacy games that you can also find. Another thing is I can't seem to get punkbuster to leave me alone every time I start the multiplayer version, canceling the install lets you continue on to your game and you can play just fine. Other Thoughts: I bought this on a whim, I saw that is was the "Mac" version and I figured I would try and activate it on steam and see what happens, especially for the low price that I got it for (5) it seemed like a no brainer since if it was indeed OS specific I have a hackintosh install on a spare ssd in my computer that I figured I would of installed it to, but sure enough the CD key activated just fine in Steam and I was able to download it to my Windows install. People still play the multiplayer to this day (11/30/2013) and the gameplay has held up. The steam code works for Mac and Windows. Cons: This game should not be $20. I bought it because it went on sale for $5, however I just don't think that this is a $20. The base price for any call of duty game seems to be $20.
