5 out of 5 eggsFUN

Pros: Classic always fun to go back too specially when the bundles so cheap now and my kids lost my originals.

Cons: Its old and it shows but hey these were classics

Other Thoughts: Was fun to revisit this older game and whats even better is your ISP can be down and not needed to play these :)

5 out of 5 eggsBest.Game.Ever

Pros: This is a very complex and rich world, with the best story line in a game, ever. As other reviewers state, you can literally go anywhere and do anything in this open-ended game, with consequences. You can also change and create anything in the game with the included Elder Scrolls Construction Set. There are bajillions of mods available from a vast international modding community.

Cons: You might forget about the real world for a few hundred hours. Don't forget to eat, sleep, and go to work outside of the game.

Other Thoughts: The game I play has been completely retextured, thanks to colorful high-res files I found online. I've added thousands of third-party created weapons, clothing, armor, magical items, places, people, and quests. My people look very realistic, also thanks to easily added mods. The Morrowind Graphics extender adds extensive support for modern monitor resolutions. I'm writing this in March of 2013, and still think it's the best game ever.

3 out of 5 eggsAmazing 10/10 game, but no map!?

Pros: I LOVE this game so I bought another copy hoping to replace my lost map.

Cons: It DOES NOT come with any form of a physical map... It should for $20.00

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible game

Pros: Like everyone else has said, this is the best storyline in any RPG ever. You can spend 300 hours and not have experienced the breadth of the game yet. Total and complete character development and choices, unrestricted by the game world. Do what you want, when you want, or don't do it at all. Create any character concept you can possibly imagine.

Cons: The game's stock graphics are lacking. It's an old game afterall. But see below.

Other Thoughts: You can download any of the roughly 100k free mods out there to improve any aspect of the game. I run a total retexture pack that updates absolutely every item be it fork or mountain or armor or clutter in the game. I also run a side program called MGE that makes the game use DX9 and lets you set variables like infinite view distance ala Oblivion. Want more quests, download them for free, there are thousands of them from small to massive. If there is something you want to add/change/modify or drastically alter to this game, there are simply at least a hundred of them that will do exactly that, pick the one you fancy most.

I run Oblivion heavily modded as well and can honestly say that my Morrowind game looks vastly superior to a stock Oblivion and is within striking distance of my HEAVILY modded Oblivion graphics wise. Gameplay wise, Morrowind beats Oblivion in many aspects.

5 out of 5 eggsA Classic that is timeless

Pros: A wonderful combination of open ended architecture combined with a wonderfully written storyline (a rarity to find both in one game). The lore is amazingly broad and full of depth. The world, though old in graphics is very beautiful. The music is very serene and the whole game is outrageously immersive. Be prepared to lose many hours of your life to this game.

Cons: It sucks you in for a very long time. The battles get a bit boring (if you are a FPS adrenaline junkie, look elsewhere). Graphics showing its age. Even with the most modern hardware, the game still occasionally lags (nothing to do with hardware, I think the code is not well written).

Other Thoughts: If you play this game without using any of the mods, you are missing 80% of the richness of the game. There are a boatload of mods that make the game better from better faces, clothes, weapons, armor, a zillion houses, additional quests, even companions. Mod quests like the Black Mill, Horror, White Wolf of Lokken Mountain, and a whole lot more means you can continue playing this one game for months, even years. Hows that for $20?

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Beautiful game when it was released. Although it did have many bugs when it was first released, official and unofficial patches fixed all that I could find.

Cons: Eats up all your time.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Pinnacle of interactive Media.

Pros: By that title, you can bet I regard this game very highly. While it's old, and doesn't show it's age well aesthetically, you'd be hard pressed to find a better game on the market. Morrowind is simply one of the most immersive, compelling and artistically beautiful games of any generation, and if you can get around the technological short comings of of almost 7 years prio, as well as a few minor bugs, this game belongs in any RPG and gaming enthusiasts collection. Combine this with a dedicated team of some of the most talented community modders of any game and you have the best 400 dollars you ever will spend. Just imagine how awesome it is at only 20.

Cons: Cliff Racers. (You'll know when you play...)

Other Thoughts: Had this game since day 1 launch, but lost my discs when I moved. Newegg was the only site that still sold the GOTY for PC, which made filled me with Glee. UPS lost it in transit for some reason, called and they found it, but seriously, I ordered 2 games with the same shipping method and one arrive fine. What the heck is going on?

5 out of 5 eggsFive years later...

Pros: I've had this game for over five years, now, and I still turn it on and play it often. One of the most entertaining games ever, and certainly has more longevity and replay value than any other game I have ever played.

Cons: It gets boring after about 2000+ hours. Combat can be boring and sluggish, the game has a few glitches, though nothing near game breaking.

Other Thoughts: The main feature of this game, in my opinion, is it's character. Not it's longevity, openness, replayabiltiy, customization. The game has a character and feel that most games simply cannot compete with.

Also, I highly discourage using any guides until after you've accomplished a lot in the game. If there was one thing I could change about the game, it would be that I had never played it, so that I could experience the game all over again in ignorance. Knowing a lot about the game will kill it for you; it's all about discovery.

At the very least, if you are going to use guides, buy the official strategy guide. It's honestly worth the money even if you don't own the game, as it's got as much comic material in it as a Monty Python movie.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Game

Pros: The best Rpg, I'v played in a long time. It's controls
are easy to understand and easy to learn how to play.
The graphics look awesome and it plays on almost any
Pc . I liked that it was only single player made the game much more Fun.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I hope they keep making games like this, to many multiplayer games out that are'nt as good as this
# 1 because they try to make them multiplayer and single player games.
