3 out of 5 eggscan't rate this combo

Pros: The Pitt. This is one of the better expansions for Fallout 3. Same things that make Fallout 3 a great game are incorporated here. You can go back to the Pitt after finishing the quests. I rate this expansion 4/5

Cons: Operation Anchorage. Easily the worst expansion for Fallout 3. Repetitive, linear, uninspiring and pathetically easy at any level. This expansion lacks everything that makes Fallout 3 a great game. A higher level character will not gain any useful items. Fallout 3 is one of the best games I have ever played but how they came up with this crapfest of an expansion I really don't know. Waste of money. 0/5

Other Thoughts: The Brotherhood of Steel and Point Lookout expansions are far far better. This combination is impossible to rate since The Pitt is good and Anchorage is complete garbage.

1 out of 5 eggsThis game Blows

Pros: Its got a vast landscape to explore, and some unrealistic guns.

Cons: Everything is so ugly and barren, the guns are unrealistic and the game play is just flat out freaky.

Other Thoughts: I would not waste your money on this one, TESIV:Oblivion is far far better, made by Bethesda also

3 out of 5 eggsThe Pitt is the more fun

Pros: I actually enjoyed having to start off each of the expansions without all of the stuff I had accumulated playing up to level 20 and ready to go back to Elder Lyons which is where I have stopped the main quest.

The Pitt is fun. The Trogs in the Steelyard are dangerous especially when you are wearing nothing but slave garments! Walking into The Pitt and having all my equipment removed was startling. By the time I finished I had a nice selection of equipment and had a good idea of what was going on in The Pitt. Got everything back at the end and kept some new stuff too.

Operation Anchorage seems to give you power armor training however I am partial to my Ranger armor. I took the power armor in the armory anyway ;)

Cons: Operation Anchorage was not what I expected. The simulation thing with its points at which you could regain health or restock your ammo was a bit repetitive as was the industructable sidekick sergent who help me to get killed a time or two. Move on through as fast as possible and get the stuff from the armory at the end.

Other Thoughts: I have Windows Vista on a Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, and NVIDIA 9800GTX. A crash or two but nothing too obnoxious.

Make sure you are patched with 1.4 patch which was on my media. For some reason when I patched, it started up Fallout 3 and I had to quit then restart for the new content to be available.

The fact that you enter both of these scenarios without any of the stuff you have accumulated during play of Fallout 3 can be a bit disconcerting. Operation Anchorage starts you off with a 10mm pistol and combat armor. You can pick up other weapons along the way but they are prepositioned. Whack a bad guy and body with equipment shimmers and disappears. Bummer.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks with Windows 7

Pros: Combination of FPS and role playing game.

Cons: Expected some action packed FPS... played for a few hours and havent played since. You literally start as a baby by choosing your gender, then you attend your 10th birthday party, and its pretty much like that.

Other Thoughts: I have this on Windows 7 RC 64 bit and it works fine.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat add-on to a great game

Pros: -Two great add-ons that bring some variety to the plot.
- Works great on Windows 7

Cons: - Level cap isn't raised until Broken Steel, you have get Broken Steel via Live so that you don't waste XP at level 20.

1 out of 5 eggswill not work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: Don't know

Cons: 1. Will not work with Windows 7
2. Will not work as an add on if you purchased Fallout 3 through steam.
3. Installs Windows Games Live and only gives me options of purchasing XBOX 360 Versions...!

Other Thoughts: I paid $20 for a useless piece of software that absolutely does zilch. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IF YOU OWN Steam or WINDOPWS 7! THIS WILL NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
