1 out of 5 eggsmisleading

Pros: Great game!

Cons: even though I bought the entire game on a physical media I was forced to install Steam on my PC before the game would install. for an offline game I should not be required to have an internet connection to install it.

Other Thoughts: now where in the system requirements did it say internet connection or Steam

5 out of 5 eggsI <3 Skyrim

Pros: You can punch dragons. You can punch pretty much anything that comes across your path. And you can shout. You can shout and punch in this game.

Cons: You can get totally absorbed in this wonderful game and forget to do things like feed the fish. Poor Mr. Bubbles.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Adventure Game Ever!

Pros: Easy to install, endless sea of mods available from the public mod community.

Cons: Default graphics, including the HD texture pack from Bethesda are under par with PC graphic technology. Of course that's easily solved by the public mod HD textures.

Other Thoughts: You can come back to this game and replay it with an vast array of character and quest options.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding game

Pros: I buy a lot of games and this is one of the best I've ever played. This game is non-linear and offers thousands of different paths. I've played it all the way through on both warrior and mage characters. There are also hundreds of customizations available for download at no charge. The developer encourages user written mods.

Cons: Some bugs were never fixed by developer that keep quests from being completed. You can get bug patches from user forums at no charge. All quests can be completed with this way.

Other Thoughts: Even after playing the game through twice, the user written mods, that are available for free, can keep you entertained indefinitely.

5 out of 5 eggsThis game is fun, and looks awesome

Pros: It's similar to Oblivion, but they took out some of the annoying stuff, and made the game more fun to play. The graphics are stunning. It's wide open for new adventures. Have fun.

Cons: It won't load itself into the drive. I had to actually do the work of taking it out of it's box, and putting it in the drive myself. I tried to say, "Hello computer," to the mouse a couple of times, but in the end, I had to physically push the power button. (Star Trek sarcasm)

Other Thoughts: I've seen a lot of complaints, but I think they're nuts. This is a really cool game. I've never encountered Steam before, and I was a little uncomfortable having to deal with another entity, but I discovered it's hassle free.

5 out of 5 eggsChanged mind a bit

Pros: Okay, I put a post here down a couple, and since then I came back to the game after I rested away from it for a while. I had forgot how computers will play the models and textures much better after having ran a program or game a coupla times, and I was right, it looked much better this time, the colors were better and the detail better.

I think next time I play it will be close to very good detail, as I play on Ultra with 2 GTX 460s in SLI with an overclocked i5 with 16G of memory, so it is adequete but not phenomenol, as this game doesn't require the horsepower of some shooters, so that is good.

I have to say that as I get used to the controls, it is better, but I have a long way to go to appreciate playing these types of games. Still can't seem to even get the mousewheel to act right every time I use it. Good Mouse too.

Cons: Still kinda boring, but getting better, they assigned a hot battle chick to be my butler. So that is good. They think I am a forcast hero of some sort, heh.

Other Thoughts: I would say this is probably the only game of this type that I would recommend to a FPS fan like myself. It seems better and easier to play than some others that have ten year old graphics.

4 out of 5 eggsnot that good

Pros: For the price i didn't see any pros.

Cons: The game was sort of Boring to me the graphics aren't that Great. And it takes forever to get around until you get to a base point setup.

Other Thoughts: After weeks of playing i found out there is a Cheat code. I went back and started a new game now i can fly that was so cool. Everyone can see you and the animals go crazy. Flying over the Mountains was so cool a really FUN Game now.

3 out of 5 eggsFPS player doesn't like

Pros: I am a LONG time gamer from like 1996 on PCs and back with Ataris from Sears in the 80s with Tank and those games. But I prefer the realistic, First Person Shooters with good Physics and lotsa weapons, so I am biased.

I was told that Skyrim was realistic, a great looking world with very First Person type play. I found that partly to be true. You can call it first person visage because you are looking thru the person's eyes unless you turn the mousewheel back and then you jmp out back of the person and can circle the scene.

I am not saying this is bad, just not used to that portion, it can be good in ways I guess, although I don't see the point in watching myself.

I mainly have a problem in how the player manipulates weapons and devices. I guess if I was a long time RTS player or WoW player, I would just jump in and know that there are three or four buttons you have to press to be able to pick up a health kit or portion.

Basically, it is too complicated and intricate to be enjoyable. I like games like FarCry3 where you have just to know about 10 keys to play the game.

Cons: The supposedly realistic look of the game takes me back to about 2003 in FPS games. It isn't ugly, just not realistic.

Newer FPS games are actually believable that you are in that place as a person playing thru the experience. There are trees that bend when you walk past them, grass sways in the wind, trees will shake if you shoot them, leaves and stems fall when you do shoot them.

Other Thoughts: I am just saying if you don't usually play these types of games, and are a FPS fan of realism, like myself, don't jump in and buy it if funds are short.

I was highly disappointed with the cartoonish style of scenery, and unable to do the easiest thing like simply picking up a sword or rifling thru a dead body, there were too many manipulations.

The sword would dangle in front of me, I could not put it away, or even get rid of it without going thru various menus to find out what secret combo you have to use.

If I find that I am wrong when I keep at this game, I will post my impressions here, as $29 is too much for me to write off, as I have low imcome.
