Pros: *Easy claim process (the claim key is for Steam).
*Very fun to free-roam around the city.
*Good support for mods.
*Comes with the two DLCs.

Cons: *Very disgusting story line! (I don't think I even got to mission 4.)
*Older game.

Other Thoughts: *I installed a "Trainer" that allows me to cheat (godmode, infinite weapons, whatever I wanted), and then I could free-roam as much as I wanted to without doing the awful story.
*Thinking about getting it for someone (maybe a kid) as a gift? I would advise you to check into the game some more! I wouldn't ever give this game to someone, unless I know they would install the trainer and only free-roam.

Pros: great game for those of u r a fan of the GTA series

Cons: multiplayer is no longer supported since it requires the Games For Windows LIVE network and microsoft took it down sometime last year. so even though it might be tempting to buy since its only 6 bucks, multiplayer for this game can only be played on the console versions, so i suggest you get it for a console instead of the pc

Pros: A fantastic game!! Why to I love GTA series so much.

You can just drive around and test physics, while listening to music or w/e of your choosing, or the hysterical voice commentary on the in-game radio stations (pre-recorded).

Missions, building up money and power, also are fun.

Most of the GTA stories in general are OK, and they are doing a better job making you feel as though you are really playing the story out.

This bundle for DLC (downloadable content) was super cheap! :) I already owned GTA IV, but bought this bundle because it was cheaper than the story add-on pack alone. It is a DLC game, do it will update itself. (Might be a con for some tweakers)

BTW the stories do more than just add missions. They really refined the game itself. More polished, and looks beautiful!

Cons: GTA IV (original story) has a bug with fast PC's. Also will wrongly determine amount of video memory available. Why can't PATCHES, fix this!? Anyway, the 'fix' for it is to add a command line to it's shortcut ( -nolimit etc.) google it.

Pros: The codes worked, but keep in mind that you have to add arguments to this game in order to make it run unrestricted. Otherwise, it will not be able to recognize high performance hardware

Pros: Great price for this absolutely addicting game, I love all the gta series and have been trying to play it on PC platform for a while. Even though GTA5 will probably come out for PC within this year, When i'm bored of other games, this game hits the spot!!!

Cons: You have to install and use Window Live login, everytime you want to play the game, even if you want to play offline single player, you need online, due to that the game saves to windows live login online id. Also, you have to do a lot of first time setup for the game, including, controls, graphics.

Other Thoughts: You get 3 games for the price of a subway sandwich! Why would you not get this?

Pros: Runs pretty smooth on a 6870. I can adjust resolution to whatever I want.
The fact that you get the complete set of three different stories is nice!
I got this on special for $9 and it was WELL WORTH IT.
Even if the game itself leaves something to be desired, I've found myself laughing so hard that I'd start crying at some of the stupid silly situations I'd get myself into in this game. (Imagine a Rastafarian drug dealer throwing stash out the passenger window when we are already upside down in the car with cops surrounding us and shooting... until the car blows up and we all die together. Seriously, I nearly wet myself.)The physics are fun. It keeps me entertained, and that's what I'm looking for.

Cons: Minor texture rebuilding when new areas are loading, but doesn't stop gameplay. Initial load screen is quite long. Windows Live login, bleh.
Nothing that would keep me from buying it again.

The only thing I actually hate about this game is the driving camera. I like a high and wide angle behind the car, but the game autocorrects the cam angle after about 5 seconds and puts it almost behind the car, greatly reducing visibility to what is immediately in front of you. I have to readjust my view every few seconds with the mouse which throws off aiming out the window. Very annoying. But that's only one aspect of the game. Granted it is a large portion of the game, but not a strong enough reason to avoid it.

Other Thoughts: I only gave it four eggs because I feel it could have used more polish. The story is good, the gameplay is classic GTA, there's just something that always feels a little off.
If you can get this game on sale for $9 like I did, it's a steal!

at first, it wont even let me change my resolution because i have a 780. Apparently its too good of a card and i had to put some text file in the root folder to get it to work. i maxed all the settings, and was getting 5-10 fps. what. pulled all the settings down. same framerate.

Pros: Only $9 right now.

Cons: While it is only $9, I would not even pay for this game at all.
It is arguably the WORST PC port in existence, and the game itself isn't great.
If you have a decent graphics setup, the game thinks you are running an ATI RAGE or something and thinks you've got a whopping 60MB of VRAM to play the game, which will then refuse your ability to change resolution or any settings what-so-ever and leave the quality terrible.
However, there is a steam workaround, adding -nomemrestrict -norestrictions to your GTA launch settings.
Doesn't support crossfire whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: In spending well over $3000 on Newegg in the past couple of years, I have never been so disappointed.

Newegg's policy is to refuse refunds on game codes, which is genuinely understandable, but I deeply regret buying this game, even for $9.

For your sanity and happiness, whatever you do, don't buy this.
