As seen in some of Hollywood's most memorable feature films, immerse yourself in the most authentic Wild West environments and scenarios ever experienced on the PC, including saloon brawls, train robberies, old-time shootouts, and bare-knuckle brawling. Play as two opposing characters, each equipped with differing skills, abilities and weaponry. As Billy, use your bow and craftiness to sneak in and out of trouble; as Ray, stop enemies in their tracks with your mesmerizing preaching, only to take them down with your six-shooter moments later.
Multiplayer: Shoot your way out of some of the Old West's most infamous events, such as Billy the Kid's shootout at Stinking Springs Ranch, in one of several objective modes or take the law into your own hands and hunt down a band of outlaws on the run with your friends in co-op mode!
Using the third installment of Techland's own Chrome game engine, Call of Juarez recreates the distinct rough-and-tumble beauty of the Old West through detailed and realistic environments and levels that spread across miles of terrain. Encounter intelligent Old West enemies, each with individual skills, who use their environments to their advantage, employ suppressive fire and work together as a group to shoot you down. Weapons and Equipment: Take to the dirt roads on your horse, equipped with genuine Wild West weaponry and equipment like the standard issue six-shooter or the traditional bow and arrow.

Whoa
- Pros: BOW AND FRICKING ARROW....... and nice blood... wow please dear lord ubisoft make a game that is just with the bow and arrow from this game ..... man is it fun to play with it
- Cons: no bow and arrow in online play
- Other Thoughts: Shooting people in the head with the bow and arrow is the best thing ever
Good Game
- Pros: It is an excellent game. The first western game I have tried and I loved it. I though it was amazing. Some of the things you have to do are really cool. Graphics are amazing. On the same playing field with oblivion.
- Cons: No con's. As usual, newegg got it to me fast and on time.
- Other Thoughts: TO have graphics maxed out you need a 8800GTX video card. Even without it, it still looks amazing.

This game was a BLAST!
- Pros: It does break the norm of most FPS titles. The Western theme provides a nice break. The variety of guns, concentration mode, gun duels, and the graphics make for an excellent experience. The story line gets slightly campy, but I still give it a 4-out-of-5. The ability to recite Bible verses before you blow the bad guys away is off the hook :). Did I mention the DX10 graphics are gorgeous?
- Cons: Some may say the game was too easy, but it's all in what you're looking for. I look for great visuals, fun gameplay, game duration, and then "challenge". That's not why it gets 4 stars, however. The simple fact it is a console port leaves much to be desired in the form of PC optimization. My pet peeve is when game companies put their console game on PC, and really don't optimize it as best they could with patches, hotfixes, etc. Aslo, they didn't vary the bad guys' faces, so there are only like 5 or 6 face formats in the 1000 guys you kill in the game.
- Other Thoughts: Regardless of its short-comings, Call of Juarez is one of, if not the, best (I liked Gun, too) Western game I have played. It has everything from action, adventure, cut scenes, decent story line, and some gore. It's cheap, shipping's free... DO IT!
Old game by now
- Pros: Not your average theme. Cowboy shootem' up is a nice break from zombies/aliens/WW2.
Now that COJ Bound in Blood is out... this may be obsolete, but I really enjoyed it.
- Cons: Not optimized very well by today's standards..but it's not a "today's" game. It reminds me of being on a Playstation, because all you see is "L-O-A-D-I-N-G".
- Other Thoughts: Well worth buying and playing.
Decent game
- Pros: Good story line, good graphics.
- Cons: Feels like the game leads you everywhere, There is no freedom is this game.
- Other Thoughts: I couldn't finish this game because there's not much freedom, but for the price, you get what you pay for.
